A classic room, have to come back and check out the other rooms. Very spacious too and clean. That our room was facing a public car park, where at 2:30am there was shouting and car revving which woke me. |

If the weather was better I would have like to reach the top of Carrauntoohill. When we returned to our room on the Friday afternoon, there was a strong odour of sewerage in our room. |

My main memory of staying was the genuine friendlness of staff from the moment we entered, the receptionist was helpful and friendly and the dining room staff (Betty in particular )were excellent.the bar was well run and we had a great night on friday with live music and impromptu dancing thrown in for good measure. |

A charming family-run hotel, with friendly and helpful staff at all levels. Wonderful breakfast, with fresh fruit salad, fish, home-made scones, old-fashioned porridge, as well as all the usual things. The room was a bit dark, although the bathroom was bright and well lit. |

Beautiful hotel in great location. We used it to explore the Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Cork and Kinsale, and Killarney, too. Check-in was great- the woman (forgot her name!) was really helpful and beautiful. One evening, a gentleman was taking care of the bar, as well as, the front desk, and he was truly a gem, too. Hospitality and service were terrific! The hotel was great. However, we had difficulty using our long-distance card in the city. Once we left Killarney, we were able to use the card, so it seems to be the telephone system in the city, and not the hotel's. |

Staff was friendly and location was good. This was the only hotel that we stayed in that didn't have secured parking. You will have to park down the street in the public lot for 3 euros a day. DO NOT leave your rental car on the street parked in front of the nearby pubs overnight. I woke to move the car and found people literally walked all over it during the night and left several dents on the hood and roof of my rental. |
