The young lad on arrivals needs to purchase a personality for himself....This is a busy tourist town and when your working on the front line you need to make people welcome as in "cead mile FAILTE"..needless to say he wasn't Irish......

It was in the centre of Clifden, but slightly off the main street so you could walk everywhere.

The room was a tiny bit small for two people, otherwise nothing

The location was convenient to hiking while still in Clifden. The staff was friendly and gracious. Breakfast was fine.

Parking could be a problem on summer weekdays but on the weekend, it was easily available on the street in front of the place.

I liked the place, food, staff, design, WiFi, Fire Exit and Clifden in general...

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was simple and had very pretty bedlinen! The B & B was in the middle of town and was a reasonable price too. It was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Minor point: stairs were quite narrow up to our room and the carpet was a bit 'baggy' so we both nearly slipped a couple of times.

The one person who runs the place is a young man who was always available to talk about any problems.

The shower was not warm enough but he had a plumber come and check it out. He offered a switch to a room where the shower did work but I didn't move. Unfortunately the shower didn't work any better after being checked.

Perfect location near to restaurants and pubs with parking outside. Very clean rooms, simple but very comfortable. Fantastic shower and free internet in the rooms. Breakfast was very good quality, we were happy with the continental breakfast most days but the irish breakfast was very delicious too. Good value for money.

Very little to criticise. Some minor things could be improved to the aesthetics such as replacing the a4 printed room signs on landing and the positioning of the tv in the room. Our room may also look nice with some pictures on the wall. Also maybe some summer bedding for hot weather. There was also no obvious reception area or information point with leaflets. Perhaps the lounge would be better used as a reception.
