We had our baggage dropped off there on renting a bike from the first shop off the dock, then were able to leave our baggage at the guesthouse until the ferry the next day. The staff woman was very kind and helpful, the room large and comfortable with a private bathroom and shower, and breakfast in the morning was free, delicious, and enormous. Great views of sunrise out the front door or in front-facing room as well.
Somewhat expensive, at least from the point of view of a college student typically staying in hostels.
Extraordinarily helpful staff! So friendly and welcoming, and really made it easy for us to plan our trip round the island--even loaned us a rucksack to carry our water bottles! Stunning location and views. Liked the 'green' emphasis on recycling and so forth. Really beautiful guesthouse.
No T.V. in room--however, the general lounge was lovely and had a t.v. there.
everything was ok staff very nice breakfast very good
The view to the Galway Bay is awesome! We've got a very warm welcome by the owner. The Guesthouse is not nearby the main tourist attractions. It depends what you want. For us was it fine.
Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable,I would recommend ard einne to anyone wishing to stay on the Aran Islands.
Claudah (spelling?) couldn't have been more helpful. Since the weather was very rainy and we didn't want to ride bikes, she found Michael Og (a native) on very short notice who gave us an outstanding tour of Inishmor, and a good value as well.
The staff are very friendly explained to us where to go and the best things to do even brought hire bikes to the b nb for us nice view from b n b also breakfast was nice too
Very friendly and helpful owner, organised bikes to be delivered to the B&B. Near the airport if flying to the island, lovely views of the sea from the bedroom
The views from Ard Einne were fantastic. Inish Mor has a beautiful landscape. It is about a 10 minute cycle (taking it easy) from the port in Kilronan with one or two small hills which I managed to master by the end of our stay. Think in advance about how you will get your luggage there and back. The company who we hired our bikes off of charged us €6 to deliver them but Ard Einne were accommodating and brought it back to the port for us complimentary.
Decor is a bit dates but what you expect in a guest house. My boyfriend was really looking forward to a proper Full Irish Breakfast with all the trimmings but was disappointed to find no pudding or hash brown/potato cake. Also had to ask specifically for beans. Was still lovely though.
Friendly host, really helpfull and kind. They even arrange for our luggages to be delivered at the bike shop the last day. Really good breakfast and really beatiful cows in the backyard!
The island was beautiful and the scenary amazing. Nice B&B and they ordered bikes for us.
Our toilet didn't flush and the staff could have been friendlier
Views from the room, Sitting Room, Helpful staff.
Very Minor issues compared to plusses: Could use more outlets, and I wish the Wifi reached the upstairs rooms better.
The breakfast was lovely and the view was stunning
It was too far out we had to get mini bus in and out and cost us 12 euro a go the rooms were very poor with paper thin walls, there was timber on walls and ceiling and made it look very dark, the kids were very disappointed there was no tv in bedroom, no way would we return there even if we got it for nothing, she also charged the same rate for the kids, so the whole weekend cost us a lot of money.
Was very comfortable, breakfast delishious, very quick to answer questions!
Too far away from village... For those that don't ride a bike it's one hour walk or pay for taxi service!
Our hostess was very nice. Also, a reasonable price.
Not a very convenient location if you are on foot.
Clod agh was charming and helpful
We planned for two adults and two children to stay in the same room as we had done every night since coming to Ireland two weeks earlier. We were compelled to rent two rooms, according to some rule or law, so it cost twice as much as we had planned.
Fantastic people, great food, a beautiful location and excellent service.
The b and b had a great view! Clodagh is very sweet.
A bit expensive for what you get.
I stayed at Ard Einne Guesthouse for two nights. Clodagh was kind enough to give me a good advice. I felt so comfortable.
We told them we were bringing our infant and they were prepared with a cot and room on the ground floor when we arrived. The breakfast was lovely. The room had a beautiful panoramic view. The owner went out of her way to organize a last minute tour for us.
Super friendly staff, amazing sea-view.
The room (en suite) was a bit small
Thé breakfast is good and complete
The price is way too high for the location and room
Lovely, restful spot, on a brae overlooking the sea, so terrific views -- good food -- and cracking conversation with the lady of the house! We had a wonderful time.
