Ard Mhara Lodge  

The lodge is well located in two ways, on the one hand it is near the center of Oranmore, on the other hand it is easy to reach Galway and the south-western region (the Burren) by car. Evilyn made us feel very welcome, and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The Irish breakfast was remarkably good. All in all we would recommend it. Alles in Allem ist es sehr sauber und empfehlenswert.

This Lodge was in a beautful location and was situated close enough to Galway city. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, however the facilities were exceptionally basic.

Checking into the lodge was difficult as the owners informed us two days before we travelled that if we were not there by 13:00 there would be no one to let us in. We had to negotiate an arrival time. The shower facilities were exceptionally poor and the water was cold. There were not enough towels for the three people that shared the room and we could not find the owners to ask for extra towels. Overall, while the Lodge was beautiful, the service was lacking.

We are a couple in our late 60's and stayed here mid June, 2012.Evelyn is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. The large bed was most comfortable and the shower and breakfast very good. We were presented with tea or coffee and biscuits when we arrived which were well received. B & b is very central and easy to find also. Aussies from Perth.

Too expensive for the area and facilities. Car parking is in front of house. Surrounded by dense housing.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, in good location (near Galway) with easy access to motorways to Dublin and Limerick. Owner Evelyn could not have been more helpful.

Tranquilidad, limpieza, amplitud de la habitación. Buen trato por parte de los propietarios. PERO NO ES UN HOTEL, ES UN B&B!!!

Yo buscaba un hotel, y es una casa, me costó encontrarlo, y está un poco alejado de Galway

Atmosfera cordiale ed il comfort.

Habitación muy acogedora y limpia. Amabilidad excelente y trato especial. Desayuno de lujo.

El trato bastante malo. Desorganización, hay que dejarlo a las 10am y solo se puede entrar a partir de las 5 pm y aún así la habitación estaba sin hacer cuando llegamos a las 6 pm. Mucha dejadez y desconfianza por parte de la dueña. Nos exigió pagar para darle la llave de la habitación cosa que no nos pasó en ningún otro sitio. Solo hay opción a desayuno continental bastante básico y escaso.

La propreté des chambres et la situation géographique du village (proche de Galway)

L'accueil de la personne qui tient ce Bred and Breakfast, pas très patiente car on ne comprenait pas quand elle nous parlait en anglais. Le petit déjeuner :on nous a proposé uniquement un petit déjeuner à la française, c'est à dire pas grand chose. Le prix est élevé par rapport aux prestation proposées.

La propreté impeccable de la chambre familiale et la deco agréable.

Les lits ne sont pas faits entre 2 nuitées consécutives, la salle de bain non plus... Pas de savon,gel douche ou verres à dents dans la sdb. Le paiement est demandé à l'arrivée assez sèchement et conditionne la remise des clés !! Enfin, comme beaucoup, nous sommes tombés sur la semaine du petit déjeuner continental... Dommage pour des vacances en Irlande !... De plus, le beurre, les confitures et le Nutella étaient plutôt rationnés et difficiles à faire réapprovisionner.

La proximité avec Galway pour un prix très attractif à côté de cette ville. 15 min en voiture seulement

Accueil très discutable. Paiement réclamé dès l'arrivée. Pas d'irish breakfast comme le mentionné le site. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement et le note 4/10. Déception.

La chambre était propre, bien décorée, moderne et les lits étaient confortables.

L'hôte était peu accueillant et assez expéditif. Il n'y avait pas de petites attentions comme du shampoing ou chocolat. Il manquait d'identification sur la maison elle-même.

Topkamer (B&B) in rustige omgeving vlakbij Galway. Heel goed ontbijt. Super adres met grappige eigenaresse. Kortom een echte aanrader !!

La tranqilite.

Mal isole, beaucoup de bruit des voisins. Porte d'entree difficilement ouvrable. Chambre sans luxe, pas de savon pour le prix... Petit dejeuner mediocre.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The price was good for the room and breakfast provided. It is also convenient for going either north or south west.

The accomodation was cormfotable and clean. Breakfast was OK. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pleasant, spacious rooms close to town centre.

Quality of breakfast was poor. It was overcooked and disappointing.
