The beds were comfortable
Upstairs shower poured in the middle of our bedroom. Nothing done by the staff to make it up.
Should have stated that breakfast was continental and if you wanted full Irish there would be s surcharge.
10 mins by car to city center Extremely clean on the inside of B&B Great Value for money Room was a good size & our bathroom looked like brand new
The outside could do with a lick of paint The WiFi wasn't great in our attic room
great value for money,great location
Location, Staff, breakfast, beds. Everything really.
-Ideal location and friendly staff -Facilities for tea/coffee making -The room was of hotel quality -extremely clean, warm and comfortable. I would recommend to all. It's just unfortunate that I wasn't consulted about payment.
-Credit Card payment taken day of arrival without being notified or asked what my method of payment was. -Wifi did not work at all
pillows were rock hard room was dated had asked for 8am breakfast as we had to leave early - owner did not appear until 8.10 and then proceeded to put out breakfast equipment so we ended up just having a bowl of cereal and had to rush off
Location (quiet), friendly, homely
Other guests were noisy one night and they threw up in front of hostel....we know it happens but it was very unpleasant...
Lovely B and B,very relaxing and laid back.nice staff bed was luxury so comfortable.7 min walk to salthill and short taxi to Galway.would definitely reccomend
Breakfast for 5€ is just amazing! The owner Patrick and his daughter ( i guess) are just the best, always there to help you with a smile.
Wifi should be a bit stronger to be really usefull in the room.
Friendly staff. Clean. Easy to locate.
Shower drain not functional. Shower hot water...insufficient. Ended up two cold shaoers out of 6. Heat and its control insufficient.
Very helpful, hospitable staff and the room was perfect: clean, spacious and nicely furnished.
The room was lovely a bit cold but windows were open and there was a heater so cant complain really. the bed was super comfy and wi fi was really good. Great power out of the shower also.
Breakfast was a bit of a let down not alot of options for continental. Walls a little thin we could here what was going on downstairs.
Accomodated a ten pm arrival Nice room
Room cleaned while we weren't there No cooked breakfast offered Charged 10e for cereal and fruit breakfast
Lovely clean city room. Well laid out with plenty if hanging space. In a great location, only 5 min drive from actual salthill, Yet quiet Clean en suite. TV in room & kettle. Plenty of time to check in (3pm-8pm)
Thought morning breakfast would all be included with room rate. Fry was an extra 4 euro, cereals, tea & toast were part of the continental menu and free. Fry was well worth it but felt it was a bit cheeky to be charging for it
staff friendly and helpful
paid for b+b but were told it was optional and there fore separately chargeable.........
Friendliness of staff. Excellent breakfast
Room needs painting. Windows need to be cleaned and flower beds need attending. Too far from Salthill. Directions on site misleading. Bus goes by door but this is not mentioned and though the bus goes to Galway city it does not pass through Salthill
Quiet area, near busses, good room
Bad bed, blocked shower drain, couldn't get a receipt for my stay, incredibly noisy guests at 1am and no staff told them to be quiet
- Great staff made me feel like my comfort was their top priority. - Lovely decor and cute rooms. - Felt very warm and welcoming.
- Thin walls and floors, could hear people downstairs talking and could hear the tv in the other room. Still slept well though as people quieted down by 10/11pm
Breakfast was very good, quite good location, parking, very clean ... we will be back for sure!
the comfort of the room and location
neighbour banging on wall because my wife decided to have a shower late very disrespectfull
The room itself was spacious and had a good sized bathroom.
Two things that we would complain about: 1. the lighting in our room; it was very dull both light and lamp and one could not read by it. 2. We thought the breakfast was included in the price; it needs to be shown clearly on booking.
We liked the location and the spaciousness of the room. We were three adults and we had three beds and lots of space to store our stuff and move around. We also liked that it was near the Promenade and only a short car ride to the center of Galway !! Breakfast was wonderful.
The sole employee who seemed to do her best in a bad situation. I cannot find another thing to say that I liked about this bed and breakfast.
Everything. 1. No answer when I called the b&b in advance. 2. Upkeep of exterior of house: Paint peeling off wall of house, flower bed a bunch of weeds, water drop down at hall door-splashing the guests clothes on arrival, dirty barrels of empty beer and wine bottles at the side of the house, Yale lock at front door broken. 3. House and room interior: filthy stained carpet inside front door. Awful tv quality in bedroom. Partial blockage of sink. No shampoo provided. No wardrobe in the room. 4. Breakfast not available at 8am, rather cooking begins at 8am. To reiterate: avoid this B&B
