A VERY FRIENDLY AND WARM WELCOME BY STAFF WAS FOLLOWED BY A SUMPTUOUS DINNER AND A PEACEFUL NIGHT'S REST. IN THE MORNING, OPENING THE CURTAINS ONTO SUCH BEAUTIFUL COUNTRYSIDE WAS A LOVELY WAY TO START THE DAY AS WELL AS A WONDERFUL FRESHLY COOKED BREAKFAST. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!
THERE WAS NOTHING THAT DISAPPOINTED.
Quietness, closeness to the town friendliness, quality of the breakfast.
Price was a little more than I might have expected though would recommend.
Staff very friendly , excellent food, great service, terrific value for money, thoroughly enjoyed our stay & the dog was welcome which is always a big plus for us.
Very friendly owners and staff. Dinner was really excellent the lamb shank especially good
location, food, comfortable bed, spacious room, quiet
The bed comforter was dirty.
The welcoming and friendly staff. They rang to make sure we can find the place and on arrival, gave great tips for local resturants and pubs (great night out). Really want to go back again and felt at ease and at home.
Very comfortable! Breakfast is the best.
Walking to city is dark at night
Had a fantastic stay and would recommend to others, owners were lovely and breakfast was yummy.
there was nothing that we did not like.
lovely facility, very comfortable, excellent food. one of the best dinners we had on our trip. staff very friendly and helpful.
wish location was in town, but if you like a country setting this is lovely
Regularly travelling the length and breath of Ireland this is definitely one of the best guesthouses I've experienced. Friendly owner, warm and comfortable room, wi-fi that works, it's free, and a wonderful breakfast.
Not a dislike, for me. .... But literally at the end of "the beaten track" you would need a car to spend the evening in the bright lights of Donegal town.
I picked up on Ard na breatha because it was pet friendly. What a lucky choice. It was simply great. Teresa the owner, was so helpful and friendly. Breakfast delicious. We were only there for 4 nights but would recommend any time. Will try a summer visit next time as unfortunately she has not your yet got control of weather but would make it sunny if she could.
What's not too like. It was simply great
Lovely hospitality Very good facilities overall Friendly helpful advice. Good breakfast selection. Catered well for gluten free.
Water ran cold when having a bath at night.
Lovely location, welcoming staff, beautiful facility
The staff the room, and the breakfast was extremely good! They were waiting for us, despite of we arrived in the late evening! We were informed well, where we can reach the hotel facilities! Beautiful breakfast place, and living room!
This B&B was within walking distance of the town (don't be put off by the way to it). Good size room & very comfortable bed. There was a good lounge with a trust bar. Breakfast was excellent.
Airy, light, clean and spacious room. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Good location well within 15 minutes walk from town.
Hairy blanket and a sheet instead of a duvet - very old-fashioned and not warm enough!
Nice room Good bathroom Lovely dining area Good breakfast
Coffee tasted instant
Close enough for quick town visit with motor. Clean and spacious room. Excellent breakfast.
Perfect accommodation in a beautiful setting. We arrived early & had to keep an appointment in town @ 14:30. We were allowed to check-in & freshen up shortly after mid-day.
I'm not familiar with current B&B prices but was expecting to pay a little less. Of course, the town was very well booked that weekend and we were delighted to find Ard Na Breatha.
Service for breakfast was excellent, excellent variety and delighted to have fruit salad too. However, the rashers were rather hard. Decor could be brightened maybe a few touches, colour schemes appear a little dated and a few touches using a fresher colour could lift the over all colour scheme.
The owner was driving by when saw us walking into Donegal town in the evening...she stopped her car and came back to give us advice on a shorter route...Very thoughtful of her. The view from the Guesthouse is lovely...Breakfast was excellent.
Lady during check in and another one during breakfast and check out very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was delicious.
Food was excellent and staff very very helpful and attentive.
Carrying suitcases up the stairs!
Staff was very friendly and responsive. Setting is pretty. Lovely common sitting areas.
