I travelled with my elderly parents and my sister. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Pool and gym excellent. Food good .Rooms very comfortable and clearly recently refurbished. Well sited for access to the sea (weather permitting), Galway City and Connemara. My parents felt very safe at the Ardilaun and I hope they will go back on their own. Wedding parties were very noisy and the smokers congregated outside the main entrance. We were at the hotel for 2 Saturdays and 1 Friday and there was a wedding on each of those days. I found it hard to accept that we paid more for these nights but were disturbed by rowdy behaviour. The Friday night was particularly bad as people were outside shouting until 5.30 a.m. The second Saturday the music was extremely loud until 2.30 a.m. Our rooms were sited near to the main entrance so we were probably particularly affected. I debated whether to complain but on balance our stay was very happy. |

The friendliness of the staff. The room we were allocated had two windows with frosted glass only giving a feeling of claustrophobia. |

The friendly welcome from the gentleman at the reception. The room we were allocated was excellent. We also enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant and breakfast the next morning was also good. The check out in the morning was as efficient as the check in the previous evening |

Featuring a unique design created by the renowned Philip Treacey, this luxurious hotel evokes old-fashioned Hollywood glamour in the lively city of Galway, Ireland’s unofficial arts capital. |
