I thought the rooms were really bright and nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was a lovely big bathroom. There were novels in the room if you wanted to read which I thought was a lovely touch. The restaurant was really nice and the food was excellent. We asked for a taxi to be called to meet some friends in the main street and we were told to walk!In fairness the taxi's were extremely busy but on a blustery rainy night I would have prefered to wait for a taxi rather than brave the irish weather in high heels! The manageress could be a little more friendly. All the other staff were delightful though. |

The room was beautiful... Lovely big bed... Huge bathroom and shower. We arrived at 3:20pm and the hotel was completely locked.. After trying to knock for about 10 mins we finally had to ring and were told that we would have to come back at 4pm as the rooms where not ready! There was no facility to come in and wait in the bar or leave our bags. Also found it extremelly difficult to find any members of staff as reception was constatnly unmaned. |

Spotlessly clean room, very comfortable, all facilities up to date, beautiful grounds and view over harbour. Remote location from Westport. Ground floor layout very user unfriendly due to every public room isolated by constantly closed doors. No connectivity to layout, thus public rooms underutilized. |

The hotel had a lovely setting; it was a short walk to the harbour and our vast room overlooked the bay. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating and our dinner was good. We both felt it was expensive. The rack rate for the hotel is 120 Euros each and although we only paid 150 for the room, I don't feel that it was worth either but then, from memory, many of the hotels in Westport were prohibitively expensive. |

The room was excellent, the food superb! The restaurant was very, very cold making it uncomfortable to enjoy the excellent food. did not asppreciate person entering my room only hours after checking in. |
