Score from 316 reviews Excellent
Spacious room, good breakfast, friendly staff in the morning.
No tea/coffee facilities in the room, although provided in downstairs sitting room. Only one hand towel for two people sharing a twin room and bath towels were quite small. Room not well sound proofed so difficulty getting to sleep listening to persistent coughing of another resident on the night we stayed.
Location , friendliness
Heating on a timer - very cold when not on.
My husband, parents and I had a lovely stay here. We arrived a bit early and they happily showed us to our room anyway, and John gave us stellar tips for dinner and where all the various sights were. We would all recommend this B&B.
The closeness to the town.
The manner of the person in the residence. Not having tea and coffee facilities in your room. No interactions with her guests and harshly worded notices in the rooms. We did not feel welcome at this residence.
Great place lovely owners
Showers were a bit weak
Close to town & room was large and the beds very comfy.
The wi-fi kept dropping out, the shower screen was broken and the light in the bathroom didn't work. I felt this was minor maintenance that could have been fixed quite easily.
The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spotless and we had a great nights sleep. Our breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice. The staff were excellent. The price was great value. I would go back every time I head to Killarney.
I could not fault in any way very well run.
Great location and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Very easy to find. Confortable and clean. Excellent hostess. Delicious breakfast.
The friendly welcome from the proprietor. The relaxed atmosphere. The cleanliness of the place. Would go back again.
There was nothing I didn't like.
Being so close to everything
- Staff was great - breakfast was great - Very comfortable
- Shower was a little small. - Would have been nice to have access to a clothes dryer
Staff was fabulous! She let us leave our bags as we were very early and then gave us all the info we needed for sightseeing. The rooms were classic.
Nothing. Everything was amazing.
Really nicely done b&b.We would definitely stay again. Good value.
Lovely Staff and very accommodating to us. Breakfast was lovely and room was very comfortable. Would stay here again!
Great location, easy walk to the town and sights.
Too large, didn't feel the individual experience. Women greeting us friendly but didn't share information about what was around, open etc.
great breakfast lovely host
Large room, great bed, convenient location to walk to town
No tissues or tea/coffee facility in the room
The staff are the friendliest and most helpful people I have met on this 14day trip. The location is ideal. It is walking distance to everything in the city. And right between Muckross estate and Ross Castle, at the start/end of the Ring of Kerry. Could not be better
we got a nice welcome and the location to town is very good.
the shower water was just luke warm also it went off in the middle of my shower and there was no tea or coffee in the room to make.
- Breakfast (The Waffles :)) - The location: near the trainstation, citycenter en National park - The staff
-The weather :)
Breakfast was nice - a good selection of food and the staff were very attentive Close walking distance to city centre and local attractions
Location was great. Rate seemed fair in relation to location etc.
Lack of personal touches and felt very impersonal. We were greeted in a very rushed manner and felt like we were inconveniencing the person concerned. No tea/coffee facilities in the room, in a communal area (this was not pointed out to us on arrival). Having toured Ireland and had the most amazing warm welcomes everywhere else, this was the least warm/welcoming stay we had over 7 days.
Spacious and clean room, free parking and conveniently located to the main street of the city center (5 min walk). Nice stay for 2 nights to visit the ring of Kerry.
