The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for exploring the Wiklow area. The room (Furniture, bed, TV bathroom and decoration) we had was tired and in need of renovation. We had one evening meal in the restaurant, the steak was not very good, the wine made up for it though.

The hotel is nicely located close to the sea, the restaurant served a good meal. It was packed with family's with children. The children ran through the hallways till midnight. Our room smelled really bad but after complaining we got a new room with no problems. The smell was better, but there was no window in the new room. I thought the price was a too high.

It was value for money as a family of five and there is a leisure center which is always a plus when you have children. we had a bad experience with our room. when we checked in we didnt check out the room, just dropped the bag and left as we were meeting friends and eating out with them later we came back to the hotel and had a few drinks we had kids with us so we stayed in the reception area.two of the children fell asleep so we called it a night.so this was the first time we actually saw the room.It looked ok basic enough so we went to bed after a while one of the kids fell out of the bed so i pushed our bed over beside his single and then i couldint believe what i saw dirty socks, knickers and a used tampon on the floor i was disgusted.at that time i couldnt do much other than remove them myself and put a towel on the floor where i had found them as i didnt want the kids to be walking on that area.also there was a bad smell of smoke in the bedroom even my seven yr old made a comment on it,i thought all rooms were smoke free.I did bring it to the attention of the reception next morning where the manager did come to talk and apologise to me my husband was in the room at this time and then a house keeper appeared at the door and asked him where it was he said in the bin i assume my wife put them as i had.Was not the best hotel experience i have had.

Location There family room is a twin room with camp bed pushed in to end of it (do not have a problem with a camp bed if room if big enough to accommodate it ) Had to put a chair that was left at end of bed into bathroom so we could move around. Put up with tiny room as we were only staying one night and kids were very tired but if it was any longer would have had to have room change

I requested a family room as we have an 18 month old child. I was initially put into a smoking room, despite requesting non smoking. When enquiring about food, having travelled for 7 hours from England, I was advised I had 10 minutes before they stopped serving food ( my husband & child were still in the car at this point!). On moving rooms, we were still in a smoking corridor which was loud & noisy until 2.00am. When I complained the next morning the receptionist advised she 'was sorry about the noise'.... An awful sleep & experience for €120!!

Hotel was functional. It was generally clean and staff were pleasant and dutiful. Breakfast was well served despite the hotel being full to capacity and therefore quite busy.

Reception area, bar & grounds were very well presented. First family room we were offered (room 323) had a wall outside the bedroom window which made the room dark & dreary looking. We had specifally requested a double bed & two twin beds but only got a camp bed in place of one single bed. There was also no room between each bed & this made it more cramped.Second room was called Kilbride suite! No such luck with suite in the title. Four good size beds but the dreaded wall outside the bedroom window again & even darker than the previous room. The bathroom was falling to pieces & not up to acceptable standard. As this was a treat for a birthday celebration the hotel did nothing to enhance our stay at all.

wedding facilities good. Food very good.I would recommend the hotel for a wedding venue, but feel that it was a little overpriced due to the quality of the bed/bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom were 'tired' and in need of refurbishment.
