All reception staff were not Very friendly, gives a bad impression, breakfast was just about ok, staff Not Very friendly, Lots of picsin bar till closing even though there was a sign up no kids after nine
The staff at the Arklow Bay Hotel were all fantastic, especially the girl on reception there was a little mix up on our booking and she literally bent over backwards to ensure we were looked after we were very Happy indeed.
Restaurant was lovely. Food excellent. Great choice. Breakfast great choice also. Staff were very friendly. Hotel and room was very clean. Would go back again.
Didn't get rooms we asked for when booking. Took 4 hours after complaint to be moved. New room was lovely but had drafty windows. for a Seaview hotel there is only 2 balcony rooms in entire hotel. Which isn't stated on the website. Some rooms extremely dark with small windows.
Was overall very happy with this hotel.
The weather was quite cold it felt cold in the lobby and bar.
Food is excellent staff are very helpful and friendly Love the location with sea views.
Bathroom in need of updating bath old and side coming off sink stopper not working. No heating in room(they did give us a heater) and bar was very cold.
Was a great stay with great music in the bar n comfy beds
The Bay Hotel is in a lovely area with grate views. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms at the front of the hotel over looking the gardens are of a good size. The gym is a good size and so is the swimming pool .
It can be noisy at night when there is a party . The food in the bar is good but a bit expensive. They could put some different dishes on the menu. The beds are a bit hard!
Reception area comfortable.Bar comfortable.Manager very helpful and glad we brought issues to her attention.
Breakfast. No orange juice for 25 mins.No milk for cereal. had to wait 6 or 7 minutes and had to ask a second staff member in order to get it.Plates for breakfast cold.Cocktail sausages served with breakfast.Pot of tea luke warm.Requested a second pot.Same result.
Very accommodating for a family with young children, no fuss was made about staying in the bar area.
Staff in the bar where we got our dinner were lovely they had great time for my young son which was great to see.
Taught the staff at the swimming pool were very unhelpful. Asked a question and they were to busy talking to each other they never answered or even looked up at us. We taught they were very rude.
everything been coming here for years great place to come for weekend.overlooking the sea can,t beat it.good food lovely staff few mins walk from town.
I have stayed now a couple of times and it has always been pleasant
nothing that comes to mind
Liked location; fabulous view. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly, room was comfortable with an amazing view, lovely spacious reception area.
No brochure of hotel and poor supply of tourist leaflets of area.
Location was excellent and so was pool and gym, staff were pleasant. Food was lovely.
Room was not suitable as a family room, fine as a double only. Child's cot bed should not be put against a hot radiator. Restaurant service forgot about us once the main course was served.
Food was lovely so were staff ... Very helpful and polite :)
There was only rubbish channels on TV and didn't have any options of watching films :(
Nothing in particular
Breakfast was good & bar stayed open late. Friendly staff.
Car park was completely full, so had to leave my car on the small road outside. The bar & breakfast room were very full, no small bottles of wine & out of draft Heineken. Bedroom (107) was on the small side.
Perfectly adequate for a single overnight stay
Parking, very nice breakfast, room and premises furnished to a high standard and with good taste.
It was a little chilly in the room.
