Great location, staff were extremely helpful
Shower wasn't great
The very close proximity to main travel areas. Good location for shops and tour facilities.
Very helpful staff and decent food. Good vibe with music in the evening.
Bed not very comfy and bathroom in serious need of an update. Several obviously botched repair jobs on it.
the show was spectacular
Single glazed windows allowed the noise to filter through. Parking a problem.
The oldy worldly look of the place the bar area all lit up with twinkly lights. Breky and the show.
The location was great. Right across the street from the river and walking distance to all major areas. The restaurant/bar had live music and was a good place to end the night.
The room we had was very spacious and quiet and the staff were very helpful when we had difficulties with the wifi and in providing advice about what to see and do in our overnight stay
Towels could have been a bit softer!
The hotel and bar staff, were very helpful and polite. The location was perfect for shopping and temple bar, with a tour bus stop right outside the hotel. The Celtic night is well worth booking.
When we arrived we had to wait longer than expected for our room. When we were finally given a key we got to our room to find the maid in there telling us this is dirty you can't have this room. I found this unprofessional. We then had to wait another hour to get a room.
Even at 4 o'clock our rooms were not ready for check-in. All furnitures are old and thats why looks dirty(especially toilets). Also, we paid much more money to the car park because they did not give detailled information.
It was perfect for what I needed, a reasonable price hotel in an ideal location.
Location was excellent and food was very tasty. Bar was nice size, plenty of screens for soccer, smoking area adequate.
No parking left had to pay to park else where which was inconvenient and expensive, I was left waiting at bar while food went cold to get salt-mayo etc..finally got this after from 3rd member of staff I asked but no apologies.. Left waiting at bar that evening over ten mins to get drink and no other guests waiting was approx 11.30pm so not busy at all and no apologies for wait either time when finally served. Customer service skills and basic manners very poor at this hotel during our stay.
Proximity to city centre.
Noise at night from adjacent rooms and street
Mice droppings in room
The entertainment was great the breakfast was great Well done and thank you we will return
There was nothing
The hotel was traditional in style and staff were very helpful and funny with it. We enjoyed the local area pubs and had a great craic!!! This set us up nicely to celebrate a family wedding the next day. Looking forward to coming back.
Difficult to locate the nearest car park. Too few staff on reception resulting in a big queue. Telephones took priority.
Location, and an open bar on returning from a show,I like the fact that music is still on to closing, but would prefer if it was I bit quieter,so one could talk. Staff varied a bit, mostly good.
I stayed a few times,I like the fact that it's still alive when I return after a show, but it would be nice to also have a quiet lounge. One of my greatest problems in recomending it is,it always has a stuffy (lack of fresh air)feeling.
The staff was very helpful when we had lost a telephone. The breakfasts were very good apart from the toaster that did not really work. The staff in the breakfast area were all very friendly and hardworking.
Nothing springs to mind
Central location. Staff quite helpful.
Poor vehicle access. Very noisy hotel. Backpackers opposite, and street noise at night were difficult to manage.
The food provided in the carvery section was very good and service was quick
On arrival we were met by the grumpiest reception who had no manners, on checking in I asked if my request for early check in was available she looked at me and said there's forty in front of u and there where here earlier while accepting to store or bag I said to my husband there's no harm in asking when we had requested she muttered if early check in was what we wanted we should of booked another hotel very rude
Major tourist sites around O'Connell street.
All Irish pubs ridiculously loud.
I've been in the Arlington Hotel many times on previous visits to Dublin but never stopped there until now. Always wanted to stay & certainly wasn't disappointed now I have. Lovely helpful & friendly staff. Reception arranged holding our bags as we arrived before check in plus were leaving after check out time. Also one of the guys behind bar (think he was a manager) put the Grand Prix on for us specially. Breakfast staff were also lovely & friendly & nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it & hope to stay again. The only thing we missed was the Irish dancing show which was a shame.
Ultra convenient location. I was worried based on prior reviews that it would be noisy at night, but it wasn't at all at the Bachelors Walk location.
No cooling or ventilation, other than the window. In Mid Sept, the room was warm and stuffy during the day, but OK at night.
