Good location. Family atmosphere. Folk music in bar Noise from bar late at night in room. Housekeeping poor. Shortage of towels. Bulbs blown in bed lamps. No cups for coffee/tea. Food overpriced for quality.

Cozy hotel in a lovely village, with lots of outdoor activities and good choice of pubs/restaurants, easy to reach. Excellent staff. Overpriced. I would expect more comfort and cleanliness at this price (I.E. no worn out towels, no dust).

I love Arnold's hotel it's very homely and comfortable. I love all the open fires in the public areas where one can sit and relax and read or chat. It's great having the free wifi too. The food is good and the staff are very warm and friendly. A perfect escape from the busy city. We love walking so it's a walkers dream all the great outdoors to enjoy and the scenery is beautiful. Hope to be back again soon I love it's old fashioned charm can't think of anything I don't like about Arnolds.

We stayed at Arnolds because it was central to an area we had not visited for nearly 50 years. It was very relaxing, comfortable, with friendly helpful staff. It has a comfortable and warm seating area with an open fire ideal for reading and meeting other guests.

friendliness and helpfulness of staff; turf fire burning constantly in the lounge; alcoves in lounge to read; wonderful food; great views; able to walk from front door to beach, Horn head etc; availability of book of walks and we especially enjoyed the McSwynes Gun Loop. We enjoyed it all!

I loved sitting by the fire on the comfortable sofas and just relaxing. Poor choice for vegetarians even though I gave them prior notice. Same meal 2 nights in a row.

The location is the main selling point for this hotel. A good place from which to explore Donegal. The hotel is typical for a remote break covers the basic elements and nothing more.

The location near the blue flag beach of Dunfanaghy was great! The bedrooms are tired and in need of a refit! Don't stay in 39 - inadequate curtains/blind to keep out bright streetlight outside and a cold shower!! Service in bar is at best slow and food in dining room was disappointing ( small portions and tasteless! )

Food was well cooked and plentiful We were not there for a luxury holiday but having stayed there before we had no hesitation in rebooking. So not looking for refinements we really cannot comment on having found anything too negative

The service. Breakfast was good. Overall dissapointed. It's a bit dated. The rooms are a bit small and pokey. We were initially booked into a room below a huge industrial kitchen fan which was extremely noisy. We were moved into rooms at the front of the hotel. Could still hear the fan but not as bad. Although the service and location was excellent, we wouldn't stay again

We liked the friendly, homely atmosphere. The staff you have are efficient, pleasant and helpful. We ate in the resturant and the bistro and were well fed and satisfied with the meals. It had been a few years since we last stayed in Arnolds but we both agreed that we would be more frequent visitors in the future.

The hotel is comfortable, the staff extremely helpful and friendly.. The bar meals and breakfast were very good. We did not try the A-La-Carte menu. The bathrooms could use a refurbishment, our was rather tired.
