Mary and Ron welcomed us very nicely; it is ten minutes walk from the city centre; small but really cosy room; breakfast was rich and various
The hospitality was wonderful. Mary and Ron gave directions, answered questions, and were ready to assist. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding.
Bedroom was extremely small. Host a little snappy.
Very quiet. Excellent breakfast and sun room.
Everything! The kindness of Mary and the breakfast was amazing! I recommend for everyone this guesthouse!
Clean ,people friendly.
Nothing to fault.
Everything was great - Mary and Ron and family are quite a team. Breakfast in the sun room was awesome and so much fun. Yummy French Toast! Mary changed bed linens and towels every day!! Easy walk down the hill to historic area of Galway. Said good bye w/ hugs!!
Room was pretty cramped, but that was no big deal compared to the ambience.
The bed and breakfast was excellent, from the location to the charming breakfast room and great breakfast. But the best part was the graciousness and warm hospitality of Mary and Ron. They made us feel right at home. We will stay there again the next time we are in Galway.
Owners are nice and helpful. Town center is within 15min walking distance. Good Wi-Fi.
We could hear every word of the neighbor rooms. When people in the room above us arrived late the creaking of the floor was so loud, that we woke up in the middle of the night and thought somebody is walking through our room.
Everything. Great Stay, lovely people. See more on Trip Advisor shortly.
Owners were so nice and helpful. Great breakfast. My husband was excited to have French toast. Room small but comfy and lots of storage. Very clean bathroom. 15 min walk to high street.
Our room was very damp. The bed clothes were damp and the carpet was damp also. There was a smell of mould off the bottom of the valance sheet. There was no air vent in the room so the condensation had no where to go. The bedroom window and the bathroom windows were open when we arrived so they must be aware of the smell/dampness in the room. There was also an air freshener hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I mentioned this to Mary the owner.
The owners of this place are brilliant. It's like staying with family so far outweighs the slight niggles. I definitely recommend it.
Parking isn't so great but the owners are very helpful.
Location is great. Host was a lovely women!!
Rooms were tiny
Breakfast, the owners are lovely people, Wifi everywhere
Bathroom very tiny
Owners very friendly and helpful - did my laundry!
Rooms are rather small unless you travel light.
Host, thanks Mary. Breakfast and helpful hints.
Very close to the city centre
Excellent hosts, great breakfast and really close to town center.
pretty much all. They provided extra information about the city which helped.
Classic Irish B&B hospitality! Location is quite ideal to Galway centre - 5 min walk to the tourist office. Would stay again.
A bit, (just a bit) tight rooms.
Wonderful proprietor who went beyond herself to make my stay comfortable. She changed out all the bedding & towels because I was allergic to the scent! Nice breakfast with friendly host/server. (Mother & daughter trip)
scented sheets & towels and strong cleaning products used in toilet
The location, the friendly staff, and the breakfast layout.
The room was small and the outlets were difficult to access.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely conservatory as the dinning room with good breakfast served. You can be picked up from this hostel if you're going on the tour of Galway touring company. (Ask the hosts for information!)
Not far from the coach station, but a bit far from the main streets. It took me about 20 mins to walk back from the high street.
Mary, the nicest person you will ever meet, and her gruff-but-lovable husband are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was delicious. I would be happy to stay at the Asgard again!
