Close to city centre. Very nice hosts, delicious breakfast. Parking spot for free.
As a student with not a lot of money, I was so surprised we found this B&B for so little money! It was an awesome stay, the breakfast was AMAZING, and everyone was so nice. We will definitely stay there when we go back to Galway.
Willingness to change rules to meet a need
Free Wi-Fi connection didn't work but could have been due to the set up on my machine
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Asgard very much and I would stay there again. Mary and Ron are excellent hosts and work very hard to keep their guests comfortable. The breakfast was very hearty and delicious. The location is ideal. Walking distance to everything! Our room was quiet and comfortable.
The room was a bit crammed. The Bathroom was very small, but for only 2 people it was fine.
Really good location, friendly welcome, homey facilities, great and huge breakfast,...
We really enjoyed our stay in Asgard Guest House and that was mainly due to the extremely friendly and welcoming hosts Mary and Ron. The room was small but cosy, clean and quiet, Wi-Fi worked perfectly, breakfast was great - nothing to complain about :) Really great value for money!
So easy to walk to town- 10mins and brill onsite parking. Host is great. We has room 4 which is small but met our needs
Size of room was tight!
I was staying only one night and was attending a wedding nearby. Room was not very large but perfectly adequate with small ensuite, tea/coffee making facility. Room was clean and comfortable. Landlord was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
Wi-Fi didn't actually connect at any point so I gave up on that. Other guests were very noisy during the night and made a lot of noise almost all night. I did sleep okay but that was most likely due to the wine!! I know the owners cannot be responsible for the behaviour of guests so I don't consider this something they need to address.
Staff were absolutely amazing and would go out of their way for us. Very comfortable and great location.
Nothing! Great stay.
Great breakfasts Friendly and helpful hosts
Clean comfortable room, closets, bathroom and bed. Nice view. Good location. Friendly, helpful owners. Good food.
Ron was amazing. He was so hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. This is what true B&B experiences are meant to be like!
Mary and Ron welcomed us very nicely; it is ten minutes walk from the city centre; small but really cosy room; breakfast was rich and various
The hospitality was wonderful. Mary and Ron gave directions, answered questions, and were ready to assist. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was outstanding.
Bedroom was extremely small. Host a little snappy.
Very quiet. Excellent breakfast and sun room.
Everything! The kindness of Mary and the breakfast was amazing! I recommend for everyone this guesthouse!
Clean ,people friendly.
Nothing to fault.
Everything was great - Mary and Ron and family are quite a team. Breakfast in the sun room was awesome and so much fun. Yummy French Toast! Mary changed bed linens and towels every day!! Easy walk down the hill to historic area of Galway. Said good bye w/ hugs!!
Room was pretty cramped, but that was no big deal compared to the ambience.
The bed and breakfast was excellent, from the location to the charming breakfast room and great breakfast. But the best part was the graciousness and warm hospitality of Mary and Ron. They made us feel right at home. We will stay there again the next time we are in Galway.
Owners are nice and helpful. Town center is within 15min walking distance. Good Wi-Fi.
We could hear every word of the neighbor rooms. When people in the room above us arrived late the creaking of the floor was so loud, that we woke up in the middle of the night and thought somebody is walking through our room.
Everything. Great Stay, lovely people. See more on Trip Advisor shortly.
Owners were so nice and helpful. Great breakfast. My husband was excited to have French toast. Room small but comfy and lots of storage. Very clean bathroom. 15 min walk to high street.
Our room was very damp. The bed clothes were damp and the carpet was damp also. There was a smell of mould off the bottom of the valance sheet. There was no air vent in the room so the condensation had no where to go. The bedroom window and the bathroom windows were open when we arrived so they must be aware of the smell/dampness in the room. There was also an air freshener hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I mentioned this to Mary the owner.
The owners of this place are brilliant. It's like staying with family so far outweighs the slight niggles. I definitely recommend it.
Parking isn't so great but the owners are very helpful.
