The location is great, not far form the city center.
Strange smell in the kitchen area.
I liked the hostel because has been absolutely helpful and comfortable! In the right centre of Dublin! I spent few money and had a Very Good Service! You should try if you Want to have fin in dublin without spend a Lot of money Gianluca from Varese( Italy)
Hall furniture dirty..
fab location and fab kitchen and communal facilities - secure
too noisy from street below - we were on the top floor on the main street however it sounded as though we were sleeping on the street - traffic 24 hours a day - noisy drunks until 4am (in the street)
Small room for 6 people
A suggestion I would like to make is to put more hangers and/or shelves in the toilets, so we can have some space to put our clothes, towel and toilet kit while we are in there.
Very good location. So close to the bus station, city centre, shops, temple bar, the castle, town hall and trinity. The wifi was really fast. The beds where comfy. Breakfast was good. Lots of info on things to do in dublin and day tours. Atmosphere in the common room was lively.
The bathrooms and toilets where not clean. There was mould and cracks on the walls. The shower was to small and the water came out inconsistently. The shower curtain didn't do anything, water would just splash through it and leave the floor soaking. There were no fans in the bathrooms. The floors throughout the hostel where very creaky and uneven, lost of trip hazards!!! The hostel was dark and grim over all and looked like it was derelict for many years before the hostel arrived and they have done a really cheap rough job of doing it up.
Location was good, but at night became the drunken row with loud singing. Free ear plugs offered at desk. Everything clean except carpet (gross! would have been much nicer with just concrete floor) luggage room, nice big safe lockers for cheap. Cost twice as much as a similar hostel in nicer area, probably due to different dates.
Carpet in room. kitchen area could be a little nicer, but it was well furnished just needed to be a little cleaner.
Location, value of money + clean
So near to the centre of Dublin! No curfew. Breakfast included. Really friendly and helpful staff! Good value for money.
A little noisy at night from the streets below, but that's what you get for staying so central.
Great location very close to temple bar and trinity college. Cheap for central Dublin
Could have been cleaner
cheap location friendly staff breakfast - always supplemented, plenty to choose from (considering that it was a continental breakfast) luggage room - they kept our luggage there even though we were no longer accommodated
the door next to the kitchen is really noisy, like really! :-/ shower in room was a bit moldy we had a room for 8, and our roommates were noisy, however, when you are doing something like this, you should be prepared for that
The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our many questions.
It was very warm in the room which made it hard to sleep.
Location is excellent, staff was friendly, the price was good, and it was overall quiet enough for a good sleep.
Little ventilation in the room...it was quite hot one night
Lovely and helpful staff.very well placed in the city centre . Well worth staying there! Adélia - Brazil
Staff were excellent, as was the location, exactly what we were looking for. Thanks again.
noisy place, our room was not spacious, definitely
Located right in the centre of Dublin. Friendly staff who make the hostel very safe!
Missed a bedlamp and possibility of mixing very hot and cold water in the zink!
Very good locality in the centre.
- dirty room with some litter on the carpet from the guest before us - not so clean bathroom - you must be quick for breakfast or you will not get jam on toasts...:)
Very poor continental breakfast. The morning that we had to fly home, we had no water. We could not take showers or use the bathroom in our room. The facility would not deal withus as far as giving us some kind of rebate.
The staff is really helpful; its very central; good value.
stairs, way to many...
Complementary breakfast Luggage room Secure luggage lockers Location - 2min walk from temple bar Spacious room with good ensuite facilities 24hr reception
Just don't expect 5*
Best location! You can go everywhere walking from the hostel. The double private bedroom is very nice! I strongly recommend this hostel!
Too hot in the living room
