Just a 5-minute walk from Dublin’s lively Temple Bar entertainment district, this modern purpose-built hostel provides affordable accommodations within the very heart of the city.
Score from 518 reviews Very good
Very friendly staff. No strict rules.
Elevator out of order. Bathroom floor could be cleaner.
Small shower and bad beds.
Everything is good.
Just a bit noisy during the night because the room is facing a main street. That's kind of because the central location of the hostel. However, the window is a bit leaking, only a little bit, but then the wind is kinda coming through.
Location, price, staff, free breakfast, free baggage storage.
The rude group of people sharing the room, get in at 1:30 am loud, drunk and obnoxious, and expect those trying to sleep, to be ok with it.
Perfect location, it's on the high street, only 5 minutes walk from the train station. Among all the youth hostles I've ever stayed in different places, this one has the best location. The decreation of the bar is really thoughtful as you can see from the pictures, I like the design.
The kitchen which is located in the basement is a bit too creepy, and it has got only a microwave and a kattle (no place to get water). The duvet is a little bit too thin considering the cold weather, we had to drag another duvet from other beds to keep ourselves warm enough at night, since theres only one hearter in the massive room. Downside of the bar and the perfect location is that it might be too noisy on a Saturday night.
Everything. Staff are so friendly and helpful I love staying here whenever I am in Dublin. Can't fault anything.
The room main door did need heavy push to lock the door. Toilet sit was loose from the ground. Bathroom door from inside did not had handle, but had outside one. Hot water from tap was boiling hot and the tap did not closed and water was running all the time. The shower tap was very loose from wall attachment. Very noisy hostel.
The location was very good. Existence of an elevator.
The facilities were old and the conditions weren´t great.
great location friendly staff quiet good breakfast
not good linens poor lighting in room
Hostel with a really friendly staff on a perfect central location.
Not the best for comfort, although it's still good value for money. Breakfast only until 10:30
The biggest plus is location of this hostel. It is very convenient that the hostel has got a kitchen to make food during your stay.
The sofas in the lobby should be cleaned or changed at all.
Very central location, very nice and helpful staff, good WiFi
Really simple breakfast (but good hours!)
Very central, staff is friendly and there seems to be quite a nice young crowd moving in and out. Having breakfast included was quite nice as well, although they might consider extending the serving time past 10.30am.
The 4-bed room we had was VERY cold. The radiator only came on twice a day, for under an hour each time. The window was extremely drafty, you could easily feel the air coming in. It did such a poor job at blocking the noise from the street that we often had to check if the window was open.
Location for the price was excellent. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Connel was really helpful!!!!!
Good location. Breakfast was ok.
The room was very dirty! The capret needed cleaning, the window was full of dust and cold was coming in, the matresses were also old and dirty. There was also an underwear left in the bathroom behind the door. We kindly asked them to clean the room and remove the underwear, but they did nothing! The check out time is 10.30 and the check in 14.00 so I am sure they had the time to clean the room!! Shame!!
Great location, decent hostel breakfast (boiled egg, toast, jam, cereal, yoghurt).
Do not book if you have trouble sleeping with noise from traffic. The hostel is on a busy street.
+For this price and location this hostel is really great!
- Quite poor breakfast, just bread, jam, butter, eggs, youghurt and cereals. That's it...
The location is great, not far form the city center.
Strange smell in the kitchen area.
I liked the hostel because has been absolutely helpful and comfortable! In the right centre of Dublin! I spent few money and had a Very Good Service! You should try if you Want to have fin in dublin without spend a Lot of money Gianluca from Varese( Italy)
Hall furniture dirty..
fab location and fab kitchen and communal facilities - secure
too noisy from street below - we were on the top floor on the main street however it sounded as though we were sleeping on the street - traffic 24 hours a day - noisy drunks until 4am (in the street)
Small room for 6 people
A suggestion I would like to make is to put more hangers and/or shelves in the toilets, so we can have some space to put our clothes, towel and toilet kit while we are in there.
