Good location

Poor and not fresh breakfast, dirthy rooms, filthy bathroom

The location was great - an easy 10 minute walk from the center of Galway with its bars, restaurants and nightlife. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Friendly owners.

Tiny rooms but if you are not planning to spend much time in the rooms, it's totally fine.

The manor looked nice and staff was very accommodating. We were traveling with another couple.and were asked to move to a 2 bedroom penthouse, The apartment was on the water and had a beautiful view of the bay and the docks! Couldn't have asked for a better location- very close to the main shopping/ pub area of town and to travel companies to arrange tours. Breakfast basics were left at the apartment so we didn't have to go back to the manor. The owner went out of her way to assist us with luggage storage. Would definitely book here again!

The toilet off one of the bedrooms was out of order. It was not fixed during our 10 day stay. It really wasn't a big deal because the other one worked fine. People tend to party in the dock area and it can be a bit noisy at night. Ear plugs work well.

The smell of the kitchen came straight into the room.

Price.. €50 per a night including breakfast, can't beat!! If you don't want to share bathroom, this place is better..Continental breakfast was good too. Cold ham, cheese, yogurt, some fruits, juices, cereals, toasts, tea and coffee, also choice of egg dish.. Staffs were very friendly too. Good location.

Well.. it was €25 per person per night. I got what I paid for!! Bring shampoo, conditioner, soap. (They provide towels tho)

The rooms are a bit small. Some things just need some maintenance (like the shower head). The walls are far from sound proof, so you hear everything that's going on.

The location was excellent - quite near the relatives we were visiting. Excewllent for shopping and sightseeing. Staff were lovely and welcoming. In the morning the manageress came to talk to use finding out where we were from etc. nice touch I thought.

Only possitive thing: close to city center

Booked a twin room, only a double was available. This must have been the worst bed ever slept in. It is cruel to let someone sleep on that! There's no space what so ever. The toilet and sink where in a closet, under the louvre roof. The room was way too warm - and it wasn't a warm day at all, only like 5 degrees at night. Couldn't get it cool, even not with letting the window open all night. Personal made an entangled impression. At breakfast, gas broke down so no fried eggs. But scrambled was possible. Lady forgot all kinds of things, like bringing the milk. We could have done way better for the same amount of money.

Premises is neglected and has a lot of things needing repair. Not cleaned properly. We had a tiny room disconnected from main house. Totally misrepresented on their web site. Never again.

We stayed in their 2 bed self catering studio apartment. The apartment over looks Galway bay & is a 2 min walk into town, it is an ideal location. The apartment itself was very nice, with tv, sky (also in both bedrooms), we could all watch different channels which was great. Take note that this apartment as a fridge, cooker, dishwasher & a dryer, so remember to take ur own food if you want to. Breakfast is included in the price, however you have to go to the guest house itself which is only a 5 min drive, we had no problem in doing so and it was nice to be waited on and not have to cook ourselfs oh & tidy up afterwards. The staff are very polite & friendly and the owner Corinne is very friendly & down to earth my family & I had a great stay & would book again :-))

The only negative I could give would be that the carpets were a little dirty, however in their defence there was a rug doctor cleaning machine in the hallway. Therefore I presume they have intentions on cleaning the carpets

We liked that it was close enough to the town square that we could walk easily. Breakfast to order was very good.

Requested 3 single beds (which was the reason we booked there), ended up with a very small double and a single. The clerk did not seem to know or care, nor did he seem to know where our room was ("It might be downstairs or upstairs. You'll have to check." What?). The room next to us connected with a door and we could hear every word that our neighbors said. Tried to turn the tv on and there were no batteries in the remote.

When I arrived there was no parking, the car park is at the back of the house and fits 4 cars, very tight for space getting around side of the house, I drove to find no space took another 5 minutes to get out. Carpet in the bathroom is a disgusting feature.. The bed didn't look like much care was put into it when it was made and was not comfortable No remote for tv Noisy The tea and coffee supplied was unusable as I found an unwrapped medical tablet in the bowel with the tea bags, outraged and disgusted clearly not cleaned!!! Breakfast was cold, toast was cold, got offered no receipt or invoice for my stay.. Hiding something maybe!!!!! Would never return

Tiny room which needed a major make over. mould on ceiling of bathroom which was also tiny. Very very poor accomadation. (you have been warned)

Pillows smell very musty Toilets not very clean Window frames and radiators in serious need of paint. Kettle not working Doors banging at all hours of the day and night. Alarm at the building to the rear activated at 11.00 both nights and ran for about 15 - 20 minutes.
