good location, close to all amenities the lack of hot water to wash and shower was poor. there was a notice saying to 'run hot tap in bath' but did not seem to work. i expected more paying in excess of 50 euro per night for room only

I like the Ashley because of it's friendly, cozy, and old-fashioned atmosphere. The proprietor and her staff are always welcoming, helpful, and courteous. The breakfast room is especially cheerful and pleasant. I've stayed at this hotel on 5 different occasions and have never been dissatisfied.

It was near the city center The room was cold and had no heating, the bed was uncomfortable, the door of the room didn't lock, it was way overpriced for what it was. It sorted looked like a refuge for the homeless.

Landlady was excellent. Bit run down and didn't like that you had to hand in your key everytime you left. Also didn't like that you had to knock to get back into the building after 11pm.

The woman I dealt with was extremely friendly took time to chat which makes a great difference. It was also great to be able to smoke in you room There are many smokers out there and it's getting harder and harder for us to find hotels that permit it. It defeats the purpose of having a break if you are forced into cold turkey while you are there. Excellent location very comfortable beds. Couldn't work the shower though so had to have a bath which turned out to be nice anyway I decided against the breakfast as I think 10 euro is far too expensive. The price of the room was slightly high I think though the location was excellent for my purposes. I would certainly stay again and recommend it though if I was staying longer I would try to find a cheaper place

Mycket vänlig och tillmötesgående personal, helt suveräna var dom. Det blev översvämning på toa när man duschade, samt så luktade det mögel på hotellet, särskilt I källaren där toaletterna var. Mkt bra läge, centralt.

The only positive thing: - it is situated in the city centre; the staff is gentle More than one negative thing: the shower (2nd floor room) did not work at all (it was my fault not to read feedbacks here because many people wrote the same); there was a tv remote control without a tv; no heating; too much expensive for that kind of hotel (2 stars for me)

Central location. Staff friendly. It's a Guest House that likes to think it is a Hotel! On my booking form, there is a section which states: 'Any special wishes'? I wrote: no smoking room please. When I checked in, I was given a Smoking Room. The next day, the hotel gave me another non smoking room, as I had requested.
