Best Western Ashling Hotel

L´hotel està molt bé, li fqlta varietat en els esmorzars. No hi havia res de xocolata.

que tingués molt próxima la parada del tramvía, així malgrat estat lluny del centre, amb tramvía eren 5 minuts.

No saben espanyol, però amb un anglès i molta paciència tentenen.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean and the staff were a great help when needed.

I did not like the luggage drop off facility. I think the idea itself is great however when we went to get something out of our luggage we were allowed straight into the bag room without the supervision of the guard, and we were not given any tag or ticket to say we brought in any particular luggage.

This was a great location since it was so close to Hueston Rail Station. The rooms were very nice, and it was an excellent value.

When i arrived i was allowed to check in early at 10.30, but the room was one of the older rooms in the hotel on the fifth floor and had a musty smell, but the very good staff at reception changed me to a newer renovated room and wow it was a lot better, up to the standard i was expecting. The food in the bar was excellent and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again in the future.

One recommendation i would have would be to introduce a ticket system for the left luggage room, there is nothing to stop anybody taking the wrong bag with them.

I thought the Best Western Ashing, was very conveniently located for Heuston Station (just across the bridge), we were able to walk to the zoo from here also. The decor in the reception, dining room and lounge was very modern and tasteful. The food in the bar and dining room was excellent. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

We were staying in block off the hotel and I got the feeling these rooms were not as nice as the main hotel. I would be asking to stay in the main part of the hotel.

We loved the helpful and cheerful staff. Loved the location near to all forms of transportation.

Good location, attractive decor, efficiency of staff, well-maintained bedroom and bathroom, good security.

Disappointed by the inadequate bathroom and refreshment supplies, given the 'deluxe superior' status of the room. There was no body lotion or cotton wool or herbal teas or hot chocolate. Also, two of us had to share one shampoo, one shower gel and one packet of biscuits.

Really enjoyed our stay, we were only there for one night, we had booked a standard double and were delighted when we were given an upgrade to a king, room was lovely, big, lovely decor, bed really really comfy, good quality heavy curtains kept the morning light out, breakfast was great, we will definitely be back very soon and will recommend the Ashling to any of my friends and family going to Dublin!

The size,facilities,layout and overall appearance of the room was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom rain shower a treat after walking around Dublin all day.

We stayed on the third floor at the front of the Hotel, unfortunately the Luas tram runs alongside the pavement also at the front and they start running from 5.30am until after midnight...not only are they noisy but the Hotel vibrates when they pass.There was also a lot of traffic noise....take my advise, forget the view of the Liffy you cant see much anyway because of the tall trees ....book a room at the rear and enjoy a quiet nights sleep.
