Ashling Hotel Dublin    

Very comfortable hotel that's well placed for exploring Dublin and the surrounding countryside. Food is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful and the Iveagh Bar is particularly nice to relax in.

Needs bigger bath towels in the bathroom.

The staff were wonderful - efficient, helpful and friendly. Food was good. Everything was of a very high standard.

Great breakfast. Great staff. Good view to the park. Short stroll to Guiness factory. Hop on-off bus at door. Free wifi. Spacious rooms.

Outstanding breakfast buffet. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Good location for transport around the city. Staff were helpful. Within walking distance of Guinness Storehouse.

Food in the bar area was not good. Too far from the city center to walk.

My 4 guests 2 from Melbourne were very impressed with the standard of everything in this hotel also all the staff in contact with guests were very efficent well trained and helpful in everyway to be treasured by management as they make the hotel to these standerds J Hurt and Ian Downey will be back to stay

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

The staff where great and the room was the best we have stayed in. It was only 15 mins walk to most locations and very close to transport links. Very clean and the meals top notch.

We were upgraded as it was my partners 40th birthday, I had a bottle of Prosecco waiting in the room for our arrival and the hotel had left a birthday card too. The bar area is a lovely place to chill out and the staff were excellent. Fabulous stay!

I was given a room used by smokers .It stank.When I was moved it was to a smaller bedroom with a much smaller bed but I didnt make a fuss.I Dont know why hotels have smoking bedrooms.Just prohibit smoking inside across the board.Also I dont like showers over baths Modern hotels should do away with baths

Great location, right by the river and the LUAS tram stop into Temple bar 3 stops away. Opposite the Guinness Museum and the Jamesons Museum. Nice modern clean rooms and public areas and free secure bag drop point. Highly recommended

The bath in our room had a large chunk out of it which I did not think was very hygenic so could have a bath. I reported it at once but we were not offered a change of room.

The staff was friendly and informational. The bathroom of the King Deluxe Suite was amazing and the view from the balcony was remarkable. I loved the location of the hotel because I enjoy walking and I also loved being close to the Brazen Head, Guinness Storehouse, the old Jameson distillery, etc, but I do not think my average friend around their mid- 20s would enjoy the walk to city center. I loved this hotel and if I ever go back to Dublin I will stay at the same hotel. The bed, breakfast, view, and location were practically perfect for me.

It was a tad pricey and it's not in the city center. It is, however, close to Guinness, Jameson, Brazen Head and some other attractions - just not the main historical ones that people make seek when they go to Dublin.

Great location, right next to bus station and close to trolley stop. Not in the heart of the city but it's easy to get there. Also a bit quieter which is good for sleeping.There are some good pubs (try Ryan's) and restaurants very close by. Hotel also offers a restaurant, bar, and place to store luggage for those who arrive before check-in time. We needed a triple and the room came with 3 twin beds. It was fine though slightly cramped.

Very serviceable place with a lovely park out front, but the hotel itself is somewhat lacking in charm.
