Not a typical Irish B&B, but conveniently located if traveling by car with ample & free parking. We stayed in the "chalet" at the rear of the main building for 2 nights. It is well equipped, although the 'washing machine" as per the web site is actually a dish washer, not a clothes washer. Nevertheless, we weren't charged the usual 10 Euros for the staff to do our laundry which was appreciated. The chalet bedrooms were clean & comfortable, and the living room had plenty of space for the 4 of us, all adults. Breakfast was ample with plenty of choice, and the cooked breakfast was made to order.

The shower worked well the first morning, but was impossible to adjust to get the right temperature and flow the second morning. The Wi-Fi had poor signal in the chalet and mobile phone reception wasn't good....probably something to do with there being a Vodafone cellular base station right next to the chalet building bedroom. Good if you use Vodafone, but not otherwise.

Nothing, tiny room and very noisy.

Over priced, taking advantage of high season. €69 for bed only...rip-off!

A fine guesthouse, fairly central to Galway. On arrival we were made to feel really welcome. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious, and the beds were great. Would stay again.

Not many outlets. Luckily we bought an extension lead to plug our appliances in!

Lovely quiet setting & friendly staff

We shared a twin room and our friends had a double room. There was a big difference with the size of these 2 rooms which would not have been an issue except that we paid the same price as our friends with the double room with ensuite compared to our twin room with a shared bathroom & toilet

Very nice room, tidy and quiet. Free tea and decent coffee machine.

Wi-fi wasn't working in the room. Pehaps, because room was on the very end of the last floor. Woke up at 7am one morning because fire alarm went off in the kitchen. Some members of staff weren't very friendly. One particular guy, with dark hair did everything we asked him as if we owe him something.

Comfortable hotel style room, good shower, good variety of breakfast

Sound insulation quite poor. If you are a light sleeper you may be woken up by people coming in late. Avoid room 4

Location and Scenery of mountains in area. Hotel is almost like a German Guesthouse. Staff friendly and informative for the area.

Not enough curtains that block view into bathroom. People can see into bathroom from the outside due to that. So privacy concerns for the guests. Prices for Food/Drink somewhat high. In a rural area, can be a bit of a hassle finding and getting to this property outside Tipperary City.

Good to have the option of paying for full Irish breakfast (8e) or continental (5). Good choice, coffee from the coffee machine was lovely!

We booked a twin room but instead when we arrive we were given a family room for 4. It was at the top floor and it was very quiet and cozy. We totally enjoyed our stay there for the length of 3 nights. The room is clean, new towels are given everyday even when we didn't ask for it(we wanna go green :) ), there are cupboards to store stuff, and theres another door that opens into another small compartment where we can hang our clothes and keep our bags in. The bottom floor is a very cozy living room where there is a sofa to chillout, a TV to watch, a computer to access the internet, a coffee machine, a water boiler and tons and tons of all kinds of teabags to choose from whenever we want to drink something. Totally worth the money we paid. Will go for it again!

Maybe it's because it is at 3rd floor of the house thats why we did not get wifi signal when we are in the room. We have to go to the bottom floor(living room) for internet access, but the living room is very cozy and comfortable.

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I suggest the typical Irish. The room was very warm.

Last day we were I delay for the breakfast. 10.15am. I asked for breakfast and they told us was too late. I was expecting just a quick coffee or a tea.

Beautiful B´B with both the feel of a b´b for the availability of the staff and good service, and of a hotel for the quality of the rooms and facilities. Very clean, warm, very quiet and friendly. Would certainly stay there again.

    Nothing.

Staff were extremely helpful. Great selection of food for breakfast. Lovely decor.Convenient location and I would stay here again.

I stayed in two different rooms over the course of my stay. The shower was cold in my first room, left it running for ages but no improvement. The second room, the spray from the shower head was very poor.

Clean friendly hotel, great for what we needed

Having problems with my legs, hotel was just a little too far from town to walk back at the end of the night. But a taxi was only 7-10euros

Offered excellent value for money. Good food, clean, and comfortable. The complimentary ground coffee was the icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Cannot fault the service or facilities.

The room were stayed in was very nice and very clean. The chocolate and biscuits in the room were a nice touch too. The Irish breakfast, though extra, was very good and there were a lot of breakfast choices.

One of the staff members was really rude, but all the rest were very nice and helpful. The wifi didn't work the greatest; the connection fluctuated an aweful lot.
