nice decor Reasonable price
sheets had stains on them extra for breakfast
The accommodation was clean and had everything I required for an overnight stay at a reasonable price
Breakfast was reheated from been cooked earlier.
High standards throughout Amber Hights. Would definitely recommend.
I liked the hospitality in the place
The wife kept disconnecting maybe it was jus only my phone
Staff was very friendly, clean warm house, nice breakfast. We would like to stay here again, when we're back in Galway :)
The Wi-Fi was great and I thought they had nice beds (slept quite well).
They didn't know I reserved a room on booking.com and scrambled to find a room for me. If they didn't have an empty room, I would have had no place to stay for the night.
Breakfast was served in a pleasant environment with help yourself coffee/expresso maker. Fruit juices, cereals, various breads, croissant, continental and full Irish breakfast, even a water cooler
Water was too hot.
Cost Pleasant staff Free ground coffee Clean
Slight walk from town but I was delighted as I booked because it was close to a hotel I was attending.

They leave you waiting outside the door when you ring the bell. I have seen it with a few guests and then an answering machine directs you to another door
great location, value for money, clean.
male receptionist on check out was not very friendly, every time we flushed the toilet there was a smell of sewerage.
I liked the fact that we came and went as we pleased without any chance of disturbing other guests. The Apartment was a separate building. Home from home. Very easily found and good parking.
No real complaints but the apartment could do with a bit of paint and a spruce up. The staff on arrival were very helpful and we were offered the breakfast facilities of the main house.
room location ground floor next to reception overlooking car park.Room windows opened on to dedicated smoking area. Staff poorly trained in hospitality trade.Sound insulation from upstairs en suite bathroom very poor.
Very thin walls--could hear the TV of the adjacent room even through earplugs. Out of four days, the personnel asked during only a single breakfast if I wanted eggs, etc. added to the cereal buffet. The nightshift girl at the reception was very friendly, though.
Not a typical Irish B&B, but conveniently located if traveling by car with ample & free parking. We stayed in the "chalet" at the rear of the main building for 2 nights. It is well equipped, although the 'washing machine" as per the web site is actually a dish washer, not a clothes washer. Nevertheless, we weren't charged the usual 10 Euros for the staff to do our laundry which was appreciated. The chalet bedrooms were clean & comfortable, and the living room had plenty of space for the 4 of us, all adults. Breakfast was ample with plenty of choice, and the cooked breakfast was made to order.
The shower worked well the first morning, but was impossible to adjust to get the right temperature and flow the second morning. The Wi-Fi had poor signal in the chalet and mobile phone reception wasn't good....probably something to do with there being a Vodafone cellular base station right next to the chalet building bedroom. Good if you use Vodafone, but not otherwise.
Nothing, tiny room and very noisy.
Over priced, taking advantage of high season. €69 for bed only...rip-off!
A fine guesthouse, fairly central to Galway. On arrival we were made to feel really welcome. The rooms themselves were clean and spacious, and the beds were great. Would stay again.
Not many outlets. Luckily we bought an extension lead to plug our appliances in!
Lovely quiet setting & friendly staff
We shared a twin room and our friends had a double room. There was a big difference with the size of these 2 rooms which would not have been an issue except that we paid the same price as our friends with the double room with ensuite compared to our twin room with a shared bathroom & toilet
We needed to change our booking and these agent and staff were very helpful.
Very nice room, tidy and quiet. Free tea and decent coffee machine.
Wi-fi wasn't working in the room. Pehaps, because room was on the very end of the last floor. Woke up at 7am one morning because fire alarm went off in the kitchen. Some members of staff weren't very friendly. One particular guy, with dark hair did everything we asked him as if we owe him something.
Comfortable hotel style room, good shower, good variety of breakfast
Sound insulation quite poor. If you are a light sleeper you may be woken up by people coming in late. Avoid room 4
Staff friendly, clean.
far from the city centre, must drive to go to a bar or restaurant. Wifi very slow, almost unavailable.
Location and Scenery of mountains in area. Hotel is almost like a German Guesthouse. Staff friendly and informative for the area.
Not enough curtains that block view into bathroom. People can see into bathroom from the outside due to that. So privacy concerns for the guests. Prices for Food/Drink somewhat high. In a rural area, can be a bit of a hassle finding and getting to this property outside Tipperary City.
Very friendly stuff in a nice B&B.
Unfortunately the wifi was very weak on the top floor.
Good to have the option of paying for full Irish breakfast (8e) or continental (5). Good choice, coffee from the coffee machine was lovely!
The breakfast was delicious, very relaxed surroundings.
