My 'single' room was quite small, partly because of the double bed in it. The fact that there was a smoking area (picnic table) right outside my window meant that I could hear voices until quite late.
I only needed a bed for the night along with breakfast. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast first rate.
Location a bit far from town center
The location was one the things we liked the most and how it was close to everything :)
Comfortable and good value
very comfortable rooms
I would not recommend to take breakfast to expensive
nice hotel good location fair price
Very little soundproofing as such, kept awake one night by a family with children who were too hyper to sleep, and was awoken early the next morning by them. Also can be woken by sounds of people showering and noises from the kitchen. Location can be dodgy if you need to be somewhere early as opens onto a roundabout that is congested. Can be irksome that you pay room only and have to pay extra for breakfast - even continental.
Plenty of car parking space available, rooms modern and come with a TV and DVD player. Bed comfortable if squeaky, and always hot water available - although can be too hot from the tap. Good WiFi available, even when I stayed on the top floor - the room had a great black out blind which aided with a sleep in. Have stayed here twice now and don't have many complaints - will happily stay again and recommend to others.
Squeaky doorhandles and flat pillows.
Had everything we needed.
We loved the staff; very friendly and welcoming. The room was outstanding. The atmosphere was really lovely. I'd stay here again over a hotel!
rooms noisy. there is little noise protection between rooms so can hear people talking and using bathrooms.
good loction nice walk down to esplanade. easy access to town and also to coast. friendly staff. great value
No drinking water in the room.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable. Hot showers and tea/facilities made for a very relaxing stay.
Not enough time stayed down there.....weekend not long enough
Everything would so be back in the summer time and be staying there again
Was nothing we didnt like everything was good.
Everything nothin to complain about.
Good stay and valu for money. How ever the room and that could use a touch of paint. Although I wouldn't really worry over cosmetics as the room and the most important stuff were there and good!
The room I stayed in was at the very top. It was lovely, no noise, nice shower, wi fi to do my work, the bed was extremely comfortable, very clean, and nice and warm.
Refused breakfast at ten past ten after paying 283 euro to stay for one night between four.
Very warm and helpful welcome from staff. Nicely decorated and a great breakfast. Well worth the money i paid
sheets had stains on them extra for breakfast
nice decor Reasonable price
Breakfast was reheated from been cooked earlier.
The accommodation was clean and had everything I required for an overnight stay at a reasonable price
High standards throughout Amber Hights. Would definitely recommend.
The wife kept disconnecting maybe it was jus only my phone
I liked the hospitality in the place
Staff was very friendly, clean warm house, nice breakfast. We would like to stay here again, when we're back in Galway :)
They didn't know I reserved a room on booking.com and scrambled to find a room for me. If they didn't have an empty room, I would have had no place to stay for the night.
The Wi-Fi was great and I thought they had nice beds (slept quite well).
Water was too hot.
Breakfast was served in a pleasant environment with help yourself coffee/expresso maker. Fruit juices, cereals, various breads, croissant, continental and full Irish breakfast, even a water cooler
