We liked the breakfast because it was replenished regularly, it was very tasty and plentiful choice. The hotel was in a peaceful location albeit did not like the industrial estate surroundings which made it unlike a typical irish hotel. On making a complaint about a particular rowdy family, the Manager (Michael) offered his verbal apologies and offered us a complimentary evening meal in the bar as an apology. How the hotel management allow children to run riot around the hotel, using room amenities I.E. shower caps to play games with. Children should be under the supervision of their parents and when badly behaved, it should be brought to their parents attention and not ignored. The families should be barred from future stays if they cannot control their children.

Stayed for 2 nights here to view local area (family), we enjoyed the hotel very much, the staff where extremely welcoming and helpful. and the hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. We ate within the hotel and on all occasions the food was very tasty and hot and well presented, very much enjoyed your soda bread and the guinness!!!!. The room was immaculate with lovely fresh clean towels, the cleanliness was to a very high standard. The reception staff where extremely helpful with our question. Would have no hesitation in rebooking your hotel for future trips to Ireland. Only drawback was not exactly local to Ahlone town centre and when we tried for a bus into the centre we found it finished at 18:00hrs back, so not enough time to enjoy a traditional irish night out!

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable room, generously sized, big comfortable bed and a decent size bathroom. Tony on reception was polite, heplful and professional. The buffet breakfast selection was varied and plentiful. It's location on the outskirts of town was a bit of a drawback - certainly not within walking distance. Allow about €10 each way for a taxi. For visitors arriving by motorway from the east, make sure to get off at, or before, exit 13 - the next motorway exit is over 20kms further west - but this is not a fault of the hotel. However some additional signage might help?

We stayed there as friends of ours had their wedding reception there. We loved the room (very spacious) and the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The bar staff the next day were not very friendly - they had probably had enough of the wedding party!

Friendly professional staff who were efficient in dealing with all queries on our arrival We attended family wedding and were most impressed with this fabulous Hotel, the food was delicious service promp and efficient. Staff were excellent in dealing with queries, it was so comfortable and everything was pristine. Athlone Springs is in a fantastic location, there is a small shopping precinct nearby with hairdressers/beauty salon in walking distance. We also managed to have a family party following the wedding....this was planned at short notice and a room made available to us for our use for the afternoon.....we all enjoyed another delicious meal with 3 main courses made available to us including a vegetarian option. Staying at the Athlone Springs was most enjoyable and we will definitely come again. Loved it.

The staff we encountered were all very friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking. Good food. Local shops available. Room comfortable & quiet. The bed & duvet were fab. Unfortunanately didn't get chance to use the leisure facilities which looked great. Room too hot despite radiator off - had to open window in night but it was quiet enough.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The hotel was luxurious and spotlessly clean, and the choice and quality of food was excellent. I will definetly be returning and will pass on recommendations of this hotel to friends and family. It was also excellent value for money.

Wonderful staff and very child friendly, although we did not have children with us it was great to see the staff so helpful. Bar food was reasonable and plentiful, also the cost of Pint of Guinness at €3.80 great value for an Hotel The seating in the bar area was very uncomfortable for any period of time this is also an eating area and the space was limited
