location and staff
We traveled around Ireland during our honeymoon along with my husband. The hospitality at Atlantic View was amazing - we have asked for a sea view room - the host kept it for us even though we arrived late at midnight. Still have great memories))
There was a garbage from the previous guests in the bean and someone's scarf under the bed. But when we asked they cleaned it all up. Besides that everything was perfect.
Staff very helpful & great location!!!
That breakfast was not included in the room rate.
The service (Emanuel is excellent) Terrific view Great breakfast
the staff was good, especially this guy called Emanuel was really nice and helpful
the room 13 has a small bed
Warm friendly welcome
The man next door was very rude make sure you don't make the same mistake I did ...... Get the right place first time
We paid a little extra to have our laundry done there, which was a great surprise! The breakfasts were delicious and everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable and spacious and I loved how close we were to everything. Would definitely stay there again!
Air conditioning or a fan in the room would be good.
the price was a little higher than what others B&B i've stayed in which was arround €45 or even less.
Very small room and ensuite for the price I paid for the room. Hurrying the breakfast, so that they could get you out of the way quicker. Not professional
Convenience to Galway town. Good breakfast. Good selection of teas and coffees in lounge.
Manual was very professional, helpful and friendly. Our en-suite room was compact with a very large wardrobe and not much else. But saying that, when we asked for another bedside light and more coathangers they were provided immediately.
Good friendly service
Great view from upper level, close to bus routes to city centre. great food extremely quiet.
staff were a little too busy in the mornings to interact with tourists as in other B&B's
Good WYFI Quiet room
Room was a little cramped.
The location out in the wilderness was great. Views and quietness appealed to us
It was a 20 min drive or more from centre of westport. We therefore needed to travel by car every day. We had not intended to drive once we got to Westport
Great little B and B. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our bedroom had a view of the sea. Very nice. The stroll into town was a beautiful walk along the sea front. Breakfasts were good, and the beds were comfortable.
The bedroom was a touch small, and the bathroom probably needs an upgrade. But it was comfortable. It was OK.
Location, Proximity to City Centre, nearby Salthill, Galway Bay views, great walks along prominade, friendly & helpful hosts, comfortable rooms, great breakfasts, nice guest lounge room, lots of guidance brochures etc.
Really excellent and willing staff, good breakfast, good place near to the center, sea and also promenade.
Tiny room, we were 4 people and had 2 double beds which was quite uncomfortable...
great views - found the place had a slight stale smell. Loved the balcony off our great 2nd floor room
Great location and comfortable rooms.
It's written B&B, but feels more like a hotel. Very expensive location for what you get. The young manservant is very nice but overall the interaction with the owner is very limited and not very appealing. They seem to be more interested in your wallet than your visit. They tend to discourage you to pay by credit card otherwise they'll charge you for the extra cost.
Owner and staff could not have done more to make the stay pleasant - great attitude, looking to be as helpful as possible. Comfortable room, inviting lobby, nice breakfast - I would definitely go back again.
The location was great.
The beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in. The wifi didn't work in the bedrooms. The staff didn't pay much attention to you and always seemed preoccupied. I realized we were staying in Glaway during a major horse rece event, but this B&B was not worth what we paid. We stayed at two other B&Bs during our trip to Ireland and they were half the price for better service and more comfortable accommodations. They also didn't include breakfast here.
Very accessible to the main part of Galway City. The staff was very sweet and welcoming. Will definitely choose Atlantic View again when I come back to Ireland with my boyfriend.
