Sauna, steam room and pool facilites were very good. The bar entertainment on Saturday night was excellent. Reception was not at all welcoming when we arrived, we didn't actually feel like staying but we had driven a long way. The selection of tv channels was very poor and the main satellite channel was not available in our room. The wifi was only free for the first 30 minutes, so I felt the "free wifi" advertised very misleading. The whole experience was not what we expected from a 4 star hotel.

Your hotel is very comfortable and the staff we met were very professional. The location was a bit further from the town then we expected, we thought it was within walking distance.

The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The hotel was out of the way of the busy town however it was less than a five minute ride in suprisingly cheap taxis. The hotel was good value for money and also was fifty metres from a bar called the Helm which provided live music and very good, reasonably priced, fresh food. The hotel advertised free wifi, however on arrival we were only entitled to a half an hour of wifi for free per day and anytime after that had to be paid for. This false advertising was annoying.

I found the staff very very nice and a thank you to Ann who works there great job .. Room great in the fact it was not to cold or hot seem to have problems with hotels being to hot but temp in room perfect. Beds great had a sore back slept like a baby . My son also had a great time in pool and coming and going . Restaurant staff couldnt be nicer and very understanding with a kid who can be a bit messy thank you to the restaurant staff . overall did enjoy stay . Two things . One being shower curtain not suited to bath as the floor is a pool of water the time you come out of shower, something better need to be done . (Towels) now I understand the sign if people take them they will be charged as you must have a problem with this however dont think it needs to be in room in bathroom . more towels in room needed we did have to get more but staff were very helpful in doing so .

the upstairs restaurant was closed on the first night of our stay but nobody told us about it or why? Then the other restaurant/bar had a very limited menu as a very apologetic member of staff informed us that various items were no longer available although the hotel itself and this restaurant were not busy. Simply not 4 star service and not up to standard.

Great place to stay & for a great price. Pool was lovely too, room service excellent & staff very friendly. Problems getting food in restaurant after 9.30pm in the hotel or locally but otherwise the Guinness is good in the Quays pub down the road!

The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms were well presented, spacious and clean. The facilities were excellent, (pool, sauna and steamroom) there were lots of options for dining and relaxing in the hotel and surrounding area. The spa offered all treatments anyone could ask at reasonable prices with a very good special offer at time of our visit. Well worth staying at this hotel.

The food in the bar was excellent and not overpriced. There is no shower beside the steam room to wash off. This is pretty bad and would be a reason not to return as when booking te steam room and swimming pool were high on the list. The buffet breakfast could have a better choice of fresh juices and not the concentrated juices which we all lnow are bad for our health. We have moved on. Its now 2012 please get rid of juice concentrates. Also where is porridge? It cant be that hard to have porridge on the menu and some boiled eggs instead of fried eggs. There wasnt much choice for coeliacs in breakfast. Why cant you guys get spelt bread and have it as an option.

The location and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. I feel this hotel should not be rated as a four star establishment. The bedrooms and bathrooms whilst clean and comfortable need updating.
