A friendly hotel with really pleasant staff. Food in both carvery and dining room are excellent value. Some rooms are a little tired. I had asked for a quiet room - unfortunately water tamks above my room woke me out at 6am. I have stayed there at the same time for the last three years, because of a function at hte hotel. The first year I was kept awake all night because of a stag party occupants.2nd year was fine. The staff are most courteous but more care with room allocation is required. I was told to request the 500's in future |

I stayed in room 122 and I could not believe the cold of the room. It was like the antartic, and the smell of damp was unreal. There was no light in the toilet, and no television in the room, and the bath, had bits broken off.To be honest I was shocked at the standard. I am involved in Rallies and stay in hotels all over the country, and this room, has got to be the worst I ever stayed in. We told the receptionist the following morning as we were checking out, and she took not the least bit of heed of us. Regards Darina |

The price I didn't think my room was finished cleaning, the curtain were closed, there was urine in the toilet ( not flushed), the remote control wasn't working, i would have gone back to reception to complain, but it was such a long walk and i had quite a lot of luggage, i cleaned it myself |

Excellent price and good friendly staff Bar food was disappointing and could be improved. Ordered a burger and it was very poor - it tasted like it had been reheated more than once. |

I liked the price that I got for a double room for two nights I thought the hotel as a whole was cold, radiators were turned off along corridors and in bedrooms. even when they'd been turned on, a while later they would be back off |

We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The Staff are lovely and could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious and reasonable. The room was very suitable for a larger family and we all enjoyed our stay. |

Excellent leisure centre and comfortable room Breakfast on the expensive side but we did not mind as rate for room was excellent. Usual door banging late at night from inconsiderate guests but we find that this is the norm in all hotels now. |

room was spacious and fresh and clean . bed was lovely and comfortable. plenty of facilities in the room when we arrived to check in the receptionist was unsure if we could pay by voucher ie one4all, or not. we had been assured by phone on booking that we could pay this way. so we were worried till checkout to see could we pay by voucher and it turned out we could. after all the worry. the price was not very competitive. |

All staff were friendly and helpful and the family room was spacious and clean. For our one-night stay the Auburn Lodge was excellent value for money and we would not hesitate to stay there again. |

Pleasent hotel in a nice setting close to the country side and shops. I think the choice of food was excellent but rather expensive. Male bar staff should learn to smile a little and you perhaps know who I mean? Entertainment was also poor. Prices also a little on the higher side. |
