The Auburn Restaurant with its wood and brick charm has a more casual atmosphere and is the perfect place to enjoy a meal after a couple of drinks in Tailor Quigley's Pub or Golfer's Bar.
Tailor Quigley's Pub has a wonderful atmosphere for a sing-along, and one can enjoy listening to many famous musicians nightly during the summer. Come and enjoy a session with many of Clare's well known musicians. The pub gets its name from a famous tailor who resided in the area, made famous by the song "Spancill Hill" where the June Fair is held each year.
An all day carvery is also located within Tailor Quigley's Pub. It is ideal for guests or people travelling on the N18 needing snacks, lunch or light evening meals.
The Auburn Lodge enjoys a superb reputation for weddings with its landscapes gardens and magnificent banqueting suites.
The Auburn Lodge is also an ideal venue for conferences and seminars. It has hosted many national and international conferences over the years.
The River Lodge Health and Fitness Club has one of the most modern and stylish gyms in the West of Ireland. The spacious gym is equipped with the most up to date fitness equipment in the country. Using Precor Sygnam fitness equipment, you are guaranteed a work out that is second to none.
The Auburn Restaurant has a more casual atmosphere.
Tailor Quigley's Pub is great for a sing-along, and many famous musicians play every night during the summer. An all-day carvery is located within Tailor Quigley's Pub, ideal for guests needing snacks, lunch or light evening meals.
Ennis Friary (2 km) - Founded in 1241 this abbey made Ennis a focal point of western Europe for many years. In 1375 it had no fewer than 350 friars and 600 students. The abbey still contains interesting sculpted tombs, decorative fragments and carvings.
Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (10 km) - Built in 1425 and restored in 1954. Situated on 26 acres, it revives 19th century Ireland. Features include a recreated village street, farmhouses, watermill, a blacksmith's forge, Mac's pub, a church and a display of 19th century farm machinery.
Cliffs of Moher (16 km) - Natural ramparts against the might of the Atlantic, they rise in places to over 215 metres and stretch for almost 8 km. O'Brien's Tower, constructed in the early 19th century as a viewing point for Victorian tourists, is located on Moher's highest cliff.

We really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The Staff are lovely and could not have been more helpful. The food was delicious and reasonable. The room was very suitable for a larger family and we all enjoyed our stay. |

Excellent leisure centre and comfortable room Breakfast on the expensive side but we did not mind as rate for room was excellent. Usual door banging late at night from inconsiderate guests but we find that this is the norm in all hotels now. |

the staff were helpful and the cost of the room appeared to be good value the bedroom I was allocated reeked of stale tobacco smoke, however the hotel did move me to another room within minutes of my complaint |

room was spacious and fresh and clean . bed was lovely and comfortable. plenty of facilities in the room when we arrived to check in the receptionist was unsure if we could pay by voucher ie one4all, or not. we had been assured by phone on booking that we could pay this way. so we were worried till checkout to see could we pay by voucher and it turned out we could. after all the worry. the price was not very competitive. |

All staff were friendly and helpful and the family room was spacious and clean. For our one-night stay the Auburn Lodge was excellent value for money and we would not hesitate to stay there again. |

Large rooms, friendly reception staff. Room not cleaned properly on arrival. Decor is drab. Breakfast expensive. No lift and no offer to assist with baggage to or from room. |

Pleasent hotel in a nice setting close to the country side and shops. I think the choice of food was excellent but rather expensive. Male bar staff should learn to smile a little and you perhaps know who I mean? Entertainment was also poor. Prices also a little on the higher side. |

Staff were warm and friendly, reception staff were excellent, bar staff friendly and courteous I booked online and paid €55, when I went back on line a few days later the rate was revised to €49 but when I contacted the hotel directly they would not give me the new rate. I thought this was very poor, I was staying on a quite Friday nite I had other options in Ennis but did not exercise them. I went to the bar etc and spend monies in the hotel so I was a little disappointed that I did not get the lower rate. |

I went there for the swimming pool, long enough to swim lengths for fitness reasons, and the hotel's adjacent fitness centre met this requirement. Looked like a dual-flush toilet for water conservation, so if it works, that's a good point. Really nice sheets and duvet. |

Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Had to walk up and down flights of stairs to our room. A lift would have been good! There were plenty of unoccupied rooms on the ground floor but we were given one further away, although it looked as if it had recently been refurbished and was very comfortable. Some of the lights in the room were not working and it was rather gloomy. |

Not a lot, alright for overnight stay, very expensive dining, menu was not very good. Stayed at this Hotel 6 years ago, has not been updated since then apart from the new Leisure Centre. Carpets in the reception wearing thin, almost threadbare in places. Would not go back or recomend staying there. As above, room overlooked large Car Park at rear, a number of cars racing and doing handbrake turns late at night. Woken at 6 a.m. by people meeting up in Car Park to get a mini bus. |
