Stéphanie welcomed us very warmly, and David cooked us a delicious irish breakfast in the morning - and it was really interesting to talk with himl about golf. The B&B is just a 10 min walk away from the city center - perfect for a nice walk along the river!
Not a thing
The personal hospitality/ attention that the owners gave us including taking the time to speak to us an give us drections
Absolutely brilliant I rush breakfast.
The location is a short walk to the scenic Westport House grounds and down to the Westport harbor which has waterfront restaurants and shops. The host is friendly and knowledgeable about local activates and entertainment.
Perfect location, hosts, accommodation and food. Can't fault hospitality, cleanliness and homely comfort.
We could afford only one night
The staff is very nice and provided us all the information we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, is at a walk distance from the centre of Wesport and the breakfast was delightful.
Very relaxed atmosphere. Convenient to town. Good local knowledge helped us to enjoy the Westport area.
Comfort of the B &B, with very convenient location.
The room came with coffee cups to go which was a great idea....
Tips from the owner about the area. Lovely house.
The pump in the room was on/off all night. We told the owner the next morning and were not given an apology . However he was aware of this problem when we arrived and didn't offer us an alternative room. Also the shower screen didn't fit in the bath therefore we were unable to take a shower for fear of water spilling everywhere
Stephanie was very pleasant and helpful. Her knowledge of the area was second to none.
Location is excellent for the Greenway, and Town, friendly chat, place to park bicycles at rear.
all was well. enjoyed stay...
We stayed for two days, last day of Feb and 1st day of March. The location was just a 1 min drive/ 10min walk from the town. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. The room was on the ground floor and had private access. The wifi was excellent. The owner helped us track down a lost phone after one of our trips to a nearby town. Very helpful staff and the breakfast was lovely.
Not much to whine about except ensuite was a little small but clean and practical for purposes. Could also do with a few more Tv channels
House was warm, clean and the room was good size and nicely presented. Had all extras you1d expect to find, tea, coffee, hair dryer etc.Breakfast was great with plenty to select from and the owners are a really nice couple, they even got my phone charger back to me after I forgot it.
The owners were very friendly, it was a very comfortable guest house, lovely rooms, REALLY comfortable beds which always make your trip more enjoyable - what better than a good nights sleep. Also the breakfast was great.
Very poor mobile coverage.
Breakfast and accommodation excellent.
Dave is a great host. He was very friendly and helpful. We will come back again.
Nothing really. It is a further walk from town than other B&Bs BUT we appreciated being out of town for New Years Eve, in fact opted for it. Probably something to consider for Sat nights too.
Lovely place, the host was extraordinarily accommodating and thoughtful which was nice since we added a day due to my companions not feeling well. The "parlor" felt more like my personal sitting room, again nice given the time I spent at the house. Normally, we are out and about all day, coming in at the last moment, but this trip we really used the facility and appreciated the true Irish hospitality provided - Many thanks!
We were attending a wedding on the other side of the town and did not know what time we would be finished. The owner very kindly brought the key to us (as we had no car) and was very friendly to us throughout our trip!!
Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Clean, pleasant, well equipped rooms. Good breakfast.
Owners Breakfast Location
The tv had no channels only an rte station was tuned in but the weather could have been at fault there. There was no water for the kettle in the room.
We chose Augusta for the reasonable rate as it was a last minute booking. It's possible we may return some day. The owner and breakfast staff were lovely and welcoming. The room was nice and warm. The house has a nice old style character and guests from all over the world were staying there when we visited which was nice to see.
