The location of Avalon Guesthouse was very convinient. The room was a descent size. The breakfast were good and the portions genereous. On the downside the matress could have been of better shape, the shower was only spitting water, there were no toilets on our floor, the room were done everyday but not vaccumed, the male counter staff were not of any help to our inquiries bue the girl was super nice and accomodating. |

The price was brilliant. Especially when your only 5 mins away from O'Connel Street and you get breakfast too! The rooms were a little small but for the price you cannot complain. |

Full breakfast include price and location in the city center on airport bus station (bus nr. 41). Room without windows has really revolting smell and doors make noisy sound always when someone in the corridor open their doors. |

the standard was very poor especially if it is compared with the prices We stayed at Avondale in a situation were everything in Dublin was booked and the customers were treated very bad concerning prices. The price on our room was increased several times and ended up on 200 Euro for a very poor room. |

Basic facilities, but a clean bed. Would have been helpful to have had a drinking vessel in room/similar for medication taking or just a drink of water. Staff helpful. |

Friendly and pleasant staff, good location No shade on ceiling light, no bedside table or lamp, no drinking glasses. And there were no tea making facilities. Also the fact there is no lift and a lot of stairs, as with a medical condition I have difficulty climbing stairs |

Close to Temple Bar, easy to find, lovely staff. Nice for a single person, or anyone looking for very basic. Shower actually in room - no changing area. Limited breakfast. Bare wires under bed - assume safe? |

The breakfast was awesome!!!! The staff were very friendly and helpful Dublin is incredibly expensive, but we feel we got better value for money at Avondale. The door on the toilet was a bit hard to lock, but otherwise we were warm and comfortable. |

Very convenient location and the walk home at night wasn't unpleasant as a single lady. I believe that an 'ensuite' includes a toilet |

The location. The closeness to the cental bus station [Bus Arus] and Connolly train station is the main reason for staying here. Its also a short walking distance to O'Connell street and the Temple bar area on the other side of the river. The room I stayed in was simple and basic but it was perfect. As a solo traveller I needed somewhere to sleep. You are supposed to leave your keys at reception on going out. But the reception desk was not always staffed. There was not secure place to leave the room key. A mailbox at the reception desk for leaving the room key would be a good idea. |

This is a wonderful 2-star hotel housed within 2 Georgian buildings in the city centre; a merging of the Othello Guesthouse and Maples Hotel to offer almost 40 rooms. |
This budget accommodation is just off Dublin’s O' Connell Street and close to the main train station. It is a 10-minute walk from Temple Bar and Trinity College. |
Stylish Accommodation in the heart of Georgian Dublin The Leeson Bridge Guesthouse offers guests a relaxing and stress-free visit to Dublin, close to all the attractions. |
The Abbey Hotel is in Dublin city centre, across the river from Temple Bar and close to the shops, bars and attractions. It has good-value en suite rooms and a new bar and restaurant. |
