Beds were very comfortable.
Toilets were in terrible situation (sink was falling from the wall, mud on the sink and on the ceiling, shower doors were broken); also the guy at the reception was a bit rude
mold on the walls of the room, no curtains in the room, so it got bright very early,
We were happy to pay the cancellation fee to not stay at this disgusting place. It is filthy and has an unsafe feeling and booking.com should not have it listed! Especially looking at the reviews ( which I should have done before booking!)
The whole building is Dirty and unmaintained, a train went past the window of the room I checked within about 15 metres. They do not have parking and when I questioned them further about stating that parking is available I got told 'it is available, you just have to find it on the street yourself!' They wanted 100 euro a night for a private room. We found a lovely luxury hotel for only 9 euro more!
Not a single thing
No elevators, no security, bums on the street and hostel stairs, broken flush, disgusting shower, low bunker bad - we asked for a twin room - no closet, only old and broken hangers, there was an access to the rooftop in our room where a man could fit - thats really scary. We asked for another private room, but they didnt have one. We left the same day. Só as didnt have time ask for your help, i had to pay for another place. It was the worst experience ever.
Very friendly people also staying there. Very multi cultural.
Was greeted very rudely. Room wasn't ready for us on arrival. Booked a private double and single bed and got a 2 bunk beds? Damp on walls lino peeling of the floor. Was shouted out for speaking on the phone in reception, even though that was only place I had a signal. Was told not to voice my opinions in front of other customers when I was making a complainant.
The location near bus aras is perfect to go into town as well as for going back to the Airport - however, the street's full of hostels, I'd suggest picking another!
Very unorganised staff - took them really long to figure out which room to give us and if I hadn't understood their French, they'd given us the wrong room. "If you want travel advise, ask us." is a nice sign to put up in a reception - if the staff has no clue, it doesn't help. Shower had a leak. Furniture has seen better days. "Quite room" was ticked, but didn't seem an Option - why offer? I could go on for ages, really - but I didn't feel that uncomfortable when I stayed in a 16-bed dorm few doors down the same street. This double room was awfully uncomfy and noisy and unclean. :-/
Dirty The train next to the hostel noisy
The shower/ toilets : very dirty
The wifi worked
The bathrooms are disgusting and smell like sewage! The whole place stinks of mould. There was rarely any toilet paper. The kitchen left much to be desired, wet slippery floor, filthy benches and tables.
Location and price
Bathrooms almost like in collage
Location & price.
No worse than other hostels I've stayed in, but I have stayed in better.
Great location. Fine for staying after a gig, toilets aren't the best. Staff are grand.
Good location, near train station and the main street. You get what you pay for..
Very noisy at night, there were people drinking in the adjoining courtyard til 3am. The toilet and shower facilities are very poor. Broken doors, lights out, dirty floors and scummy in general. No security, doors are unlocked with a basic code and no lockers or storage inside rooms.
Location was PERFECT! Seems like everything is 5 minutes walk away: bus and train stations, food stores (at least 3 big ones), O'Connell street, stops of City Link buses to and from the airport.
Good location. Cheap and cheerful as expected Was exactly what booked 24 hour reception and luggage room was handy
Language barrier on reception
The receptionist was very nice and friendly.
Bathrooms are just not up to scratch at all and I wouldn't bother using them as they are not clean and of a very poor standard. Ijust use this hostel for a bed to lie on for a few hours and then I'm gone again early in morning.
Have a proper fit cleaner. probably the only good thing about the place
Guy on reception wasn't the most helpful. didn't let us know which room we were staying in or how to get into the room. Place was unclean
Staff at the front desk are great.
The place is dirty and in poor hygienic condition and you pay a lot of euros for this hovel.
A great deal for the price in a great location. Stayed for three nights and would recommend if your standards aren't too high!
Perto do centro da cidade
Great location, nice staff, clean rooms.
Disgusting showers and toilets, train tracks a few meters away.
The staff were very helpful and friendly
The hostel did not reply to any email communication through Booking.Com. I wanted to know if they provided towels. I eventually had to ring the hostel and was told yes they did, I was not told that they charge " Euro for this.
