Bathroom Room facilities (no mirrors, plugs)
it was really dirty, everything!!
I really liked the location of the Hostel, very close to the best pub in the City :). The staff was very nice, fun and helpful. This Hostel had a big kitchen as well as an internal courtyard which made it easy to meet other people.
The bathroom facilities were a little run down and old but they were still clean.
The location, the price and the cute bunk beds. Also the 1o'clock departure time is very good!
If I was older and more observant the place possibly isn't the cleanest but I didn't mind.
Inexpensive and sufficient for sleeping. Lots of space in the room. Great location very close to the O'Connell street spire and Tara Street DART.
Not the cleanest hostel and the pillows were completely flat. Wifi was intermittent and only strong by the front desk. It did not reach the rooms.
Room and bathroom were dirty
They charge for towels, the bed was disgusting, you can only fit in the shower if you are a toddler and the toilet wasn't secured to the floor.
Nothing / Nada
This is not a hostel. They sell you bedrooms with fake photos by booking, but it is a house for homeless people. ...... Esto no es un hostel sino un lugar para sin techo.
there weren't towels
The price was reasonnable, with the possibility to cook.
The kitchen closing at 12 and reopening at 5 pm was really not convenient. At least it would be nice if it could close at 2pm ... The place was not really clean ...
very small noisy room toilet didnt flush staff not helpful
Garden and other guests
Shower was scolding hot or freezing cold. Staff didn't speak proper english and not helpful.
location location location. perfect to walk to all main attractions, train station, liffey river etc. price is good for location.if you are out everyday most of the time then this is perfect for location due to its reasonable price compared to other properties in the same area.
hostel in poor condition as expected but again you get what you pay for. don't expect hotel amenities. just a bed and a bathroom if this is all you want. you don't stay in the room anyways.
Good location, very close to the city center.
Dirty bathroom! Curtains very thin, they didn't block the sunlight at all. Only one plug in a room for four people.
Mattress was wafer thin, bed unbelievably hard and impossible to get comfortable on. Room DISGUSTING, pillows and duvet cover hadn't been washed and stank of previous occupant. Floor GROSS, clearly hadn't been mopped in a long time. I know it's a hostel but there is no excuse for such a poor standard of cleanliness... And at €65 per night you would definitely expect more! Would NOT recommend and will NOT be returning!
Not fit for animals. Dirty, broken, disgusting. I've stayed in many hostels and don't expect luxury... I do however expect a bed with sheets that have been changed, a toilet and shower facility that doesnt have excrement smeared across the floor a sink hanging off the wall and new cultures growing in the shower. A window that would close and had a curtain would also be nice especially when in a ground floor room that overlooks a courtyard and everyone can watch you sleeping or changing!! Absolutely vile...should not be open for use.....really dont understand how it is!!
Broken toilets, shower wich was either ice could or cooking. Dirty rooms. I payed for 9 days and was away for 2 nights in the middle of the stay and they finished my staying and put some clothes I left in my bed, in the trashbin.
They are flexible with luggage and the bedroom was cleaned.
The bathrooms are terrible, when I arrived in the morning it was smelling very bad, and the place to shower is really strange and no hygienic.
The place is ok, if one likes a bit "ghetto-style" :)
Though it could be a bit cheaper..
Staff very helpful
The bathroom facilities were in a poor state of repair and not clean.
It was more or less close to temple bar.
Thanks God it was just for one night! Staffs didn't know much about anything. The receipt was written in a notebook page. If you stay in the 4th floor looks you are in the 8th floor, a lot of stairs! The building is very old, dirty and stinky,so the room. I got allergy all night, the room was full of dust and the tv could fall anytime at our head. The shower was very weak, especially if you are a girl an have to wash your hair. You could count how many drops per second.Impossible! The signs of hot and cold water were in the opposite position...so you may take some time until figure it out. My room was in the roof top and next to the bed there was a window with a small balcony ( that you can't go) but the problem is that balcony was connected with others rooms and our window didn't lock! One block after this hostel there was a amazing hostel for the same price more or less! This one also had free sauna!! I wish I could have changed... But once I payed they wouldn't give my money back.
Dirty and terrifying place. Every thing was so old and scary. You should go there only if you don't wanna sleep on the street!
Beds, bathroom, toilet, internet
The smell, stained sheets, the cobwebs covering everything, the mold on the shower floor, the spots on the toilet lid that looked like someone put a cigarette or hot pipe on. The sticky floor. The broken window locks.
Leaving after having paid for 4 nights and being misled by the website entry.
You dont have enough space here for everything - the bed is a piece of 2" foam on a board, there is no proper curtain or blind on the window (which by the way does not close as it was broken). The kitchen was filthy, the toilet seat kept falling off, the bathroom was extremely small even for a leprechaun. Whoever had the rooms upstairs from us made noise every night (at one stage we thought they were making furniture). All in all, would not recommend this over-priced flop-house to even my worst enemy!
The two receptionists were nice and helpful. They changed me the bedroom for a bigger one. Location was good.
Expensive for the value, the room was dirty and bathroom in poor condition. Shower was almost not working, TV didn't work, WiFi didn't work at bedroom.
