Can't really comment on Baggot Ct as I wasn't allowed to step over the threshold! Arrived only to be told I couldn't stay there due to a "Maintenance Issue" with some mumbled mention of no water. I was sent to a sister hotel that was supposed to be the same standard, but was far from the 4* hotel I'd expected. I was told that they'd tried to contact me the day efore, which was a blatant lie, since I'd not booked it until shortly before midnight! The Fitzgerald, a block further up Lower Baggot St, was a dive. Room in roof (4th floor) with no lift; mould around bath; mildew/mould all over bathroom ceiling (no window & inadequate ventilation) & mouldy bath curtain; filthy tiling, no mirror, unkept decor, broken lamp, the list goes on... Breakfast was good, staff were lovely. Sack the maintenance and cleaning teams & hire people who will keep the hotel clean, the wallpaper on the walls & the lamps operational! |

What I like most? The staff were very pleasant and friendly. The hotel is very quiet! It is located close to the city center and the National Museum and Gallery. |

Baggot Court Townhouse is homely and welcoming, but remember it is a 'townhouse' and there are a number of flights of stairs to negotiate! However, it is located just a short walk from the many attractions on offer, allowing you plenty of time to explore the historic and shopping delights of Dublin. |

The staff were happy to store our bags until our room was ready and see below for the rest of the review. The communal parts of this "hotel" are at best scruffy. The room was tiny with only a very small double bed this was extremely lumpy and it is not recommended for any couple that are not at least on the slim side. The windows in the room did not open and as this was the fire escape it was worrying. |

This hotel is a very well run guest house - breakfast is excellent, room was big and I could park the car in their carpark. |

Room and bathroom size was ok. Continental breakfast had a good selection and hot meal was sufficient. The walls in the room were not clean. We actually had to wipe off marks next to the bed. Room was not ready by the check-in time of 12, we waited for 15 minutes. It was further from the city than I thought, more of an inconvenience and I should have checked when I booked. I would only class this hotel as decent instead of a recommended hotel. |

The staff were very pleasant and friendly, it was clean and in an excellent location for exploring the City - either a 10 minute walk to Grafton Street/20 minutes to O'Connell Street or a quick ride on the number 10 bus which stopped almost directly outside the front door. The area was quiet and safe. Excellent shower! A little rough around the edges - nothing a lick of paint on the woodwork and around the windows wouldn't fix. Take some slippers or socks - the bathroom floor was FREEZING. |

Breakfast was yummy and to order, which was great with a five-year-old. Room and en-suite were SPOTLESS. Very comfortable beds. |

Clean, comfortable and centrally located. Located in a quiet neighborhood which was a plus. Staff was professional and room was just fine. No significant complaints, really. |

It was not that typical hotel and I liked that. It was a good experience and the staff was kind 100%. Basically I was satisfied with everything, but it is not a 4star hotel as it was mentioned on the website.e.g.: there is no reception during the night. |

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was fine. The staff was helpful and even allowed us to change rooms. Our room was not in the main house but a more modern building in the back of the Georgian home. The room was very small but was clean and the bathroom was clean. The distance from the hotel and most sites was doable but not a 5 minute walk, more like a 25 minute walk. |

Breakfast was good, room clean, staff friendly. We order double room, but we got twin room. We can't sleep at all, because in room was very warm, but we can't open window, because from street it was very noise (cars). When Up stairs was people waking we heard all their the steps. |
