Only a 5 minute walk from Temple Bar in central Dublin, The Charles Stewart offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms with shower, free Wi-Fi, and full Irish breakfasts in a charming Georgian style...

In central Dublin, the Waterloo Lodge has rooms with free Wi-Fi and hearty, full Irish breakfasts. The Aviva Stadium is a 10-minute walk from the lodge, and St.

Overlooking the picturesque St Stephen’s Green, this Georgian guesthouse offers rooms with views of the grounds or park in the very center of Dublin.
Score from 622 reviews Good
In the heart of the Georgian city of Dublin, this 3-star guesthouse features traditional dècor and furnishings. It was built in the 18th century, and was once part of the Earl of Clonmel’s estate.

Friendliness/helpfulness of staff.
The room was clean and tidy
The room was very small. The distance to the city center is much longer than mentioned in the hotel's webpage. The price was extremely expensive for the facilities offered
Good selection at breakfast, nice bright breakfast room, nicely decorated room, heated towel rail (!), no problems with wi-fi connection
The seal on the shower seemed to need replacing - a lot of water ended up on the floor. Very narrow entrance to carpark - ending up scratching hire car. Bed was a bit too soft but comfortable. Phoneline was terrible - could barely hear night porter whether calling from the door or from the room!
- the room seemed new, with modern, clean, desing, still very comfortable. - my room was at the back of the building, so as result it was the most quiet place I stayed at in Dublin. I had really good sleep at night. - there are several, shops, restaurants and pubs nearby - near enough to go out in the evening but far enough not to cause noise at night.
- the light and ventilator turns on automatically, which is very inconvenient at night when I don't want to turn the lights on when using the bathroom and make noise (ventilator). On the other hand when taking a shower the light would turn off and there was no way to turn it back on without going out of the shower and waving at the sensor near the door. Checking in and out should be more efficient.
Staff were very friendly, very clean and comfortable. Location is without walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Loved it here!!
room a bit shabby more breakfast choice
Excellent staff. Clean and comfortable. Great location.
The staff are very welcoming and helpful and the guest house is very reasonably priced for the location.
I needed access to wifi for business purposes and the wifi was simply terrible. In addition, there is no staff there at night, so if you have an early departure in the morning make sure you organise payment of your bill early the previous day as you will have to phone and wait for someone to come who is looking after a number of guesthouses.

Lack of parking
Very convenient for any city centre purposes. Baggot Court was easy to find, and for anyone exploring Dublin on foot, the location can't be bettered.
Very friendly staff, great breakfasts! Cozy envirnment.
All was good.
Great Staff, location, Wi-Fi and breakfast. Room was very clean and quite.
nothing to complain.
The friendly staff. ALL were smiley, warm and friendly; the location was great, an easy and pleasant 10 minute walk southeast of the city centre or short hop on the bus at the stop next door but one (Tip: get a Leap card to get 45 cents off each journey); close to local convenience stores and EXCELLENT PUBS!!!! Doheny and Nesbitts, Foleys Bar, Jack Toners and, going south, the deliciously well-stocked, well-staffed and well.... super-friendly Searson's of Baggot Street; their roast chicken, mash and veg is tremendous (€14). Beds were really comfortable (if firm mattresses are your thing) with pure cotton linen. Proprietor's didn't skimp on heating so rooms were warm and cosy (and I feel the cold believe me!). Breakfasts were plentiful with a particularly good healthy choice of cereals, dried fruits, juices and grains as well as cooked full Irish. No problems with extra toast or tea and coffee as well if you're particularly peckish. The little bits of printed history dotted around the place adds to the charm of this elegant Georgian building and its links with a former Lord Mayor of Dublin and queen Victoria. Overall, a really good choice and would stay there again.
Pretty thin walls and creaky ceiling so ear plugs are recommended if you're a light sleeper and like me, you get the early morning risers in the room above doing an hour of exercise on your ceiling! There is no lift so if your mobility isn't great, you could be doing a lot of uncomfortable stair climbing especially as reception and the breakfast room are in the basement.
There were plenty of eating places within a short distance of the Townhouse. The rooms were good with comfortable beds. Facilities all in good working order. lovely staff.
For those of us who don't eat much at breakfast, I thought the price a little on the high side. However, the accommodation costs were good value for money so I would recommend this hotel, especially if you don't mind walking a distance from the city centre.
High ceilings in the room, and big windows. Lovely breakfast room with good continental assortment. The location.
The floor in the bathroom. It looked very dirty. Maybe just needs replacing, but a good scrub and maybe a sealer coat might do the trick.
Good location, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Rooms in second building are quite nice, though have poor soundproofing.
First room offered (room 8 main building) was quite worn out. Shower lights in second building operated by not that sensetive motion sensor so sometimes lights go off while you in the shower and you need to step out to get light again.
The staff was welcoming and very attentive at breakfast. Plenty of good food was provided each morning. Easy to find with a map!
The bathroom was REALLY small with horrible flooring. The bed was uncomfortable- it felt old and overused. The guests above us were noisy- we could hear every step.
Great location... Quick walk to St Stephens Green where you can pick from the Hop on hop off bus tours!!
The parking out back...very tight but manageable if great at reverse parking down a narrow driveway...
The most comfortable place in Dublin
Very nice location in Georgian part of town. Close to city centre. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Not especially cheap. For this price, breakfast should be included (it costs an extra 8 euros)
the location was really good for the hop on hop off buses close to shops and several pubs the staff were lovely and our room was done for us as we had a early flight on arrival had warm welcome and a pot of tea our room had a added bonus with a kitchen breakfast times were great good choice for small hotel
baggot court needs much up dating found bathroom small and room cold the room was very noisy from upstairs guests needs serious update to keep in line with hotels at the same cost
location breakfasts pleasant staff
Friendly staff Good breakfast
Little noisy from traffic to warm to close windows.
I enjoyed how hospitable the staff was. They were friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the mews, enjoying being off the street. The walls, however are thin and it's easy to hear your neighbors.
Excellent staff, courteous and professional. Location is excellent with onsite parking, made it easy to get around Dublin without our car.
We did get a good sleep due to the pillows - one is too low, two pillows is too high. The automatic on/off light and fan in the bathroom was on for a long time after used, the noise makes it difficult to go back to sleep.
