Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous Christmas Shop next door, lovely staff, huge room. We didn't want to leave. Extremely helpful and generous people. I'll go back. Thanks, Lucy.
-pretty much nothing
way to many things... -when we arrived the owner offered us a room which had a strong paint odor and was impossible to stay even for 5 minutes. we requested to be changed with another free one. Indeed the room was exchanged but it look cheeky to me when the owner said she didnt know about the strong fresh paint smell. I am sure she did but just hoped we will accept any room -anyway the room we were given was big but not warn enough -the internet connection extremely slow, almost not working -the hot water in the bathroom was more like warm water -in the room there is a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar but guess what, no milk! the owner said when we checked in that there is a fridge in the living room with milk if we need. Should be provided in the room -also, when we came the next day in the evening, the room wasn't clean enough, not vacuumed -for the breakfast you need to get dressed and get out the building and walk about 1 min to get to a small restaurant with has extremely limited options - when we checked out we wanted to pay by credit card and need to go with the owner to the restaurant to charge our card, the reason that due to the expensive charge during winter time they dont have a credit machine -its not easy to find, especially if you arrive at night -I wouldn't recommend it
Loved our stay. Very close to adare We had a huge room very clean The lady of the house was warm and welcoming we will be back
Spacious room with comfortable beds. Owners were very friendly and very helpful. Convenient for visits to Adare/Limerick. Plenty of parking space.
wifi was in restaurant/cafe only.
Mary and Dermot were most welcoming and so lovely. They made the stay a home away from home. We would definitely recommend a stay at Ballycannon Lodge
