Wonderful place & a great room for a great rate. no complaints, but customers need to be aware of the family dog, a large English wolf hound, which has access to the dining/pub areas in addition to the lobby. |

Plenty of parking, bed was big and comfortable, newly remodeled. The food was good with the traditional irish breakfast. Smells musty and old, the new molding in the bathroom was poorly constucted. It is not really a castle, but more of a large 20th century home built in 2 sections that didn't look right together design wise. No wifi or internet in rooms. |

Balleyseede is elegant yet relaxed, a real country manor in a beautiful setting, beautifully appointed. The staff were efficient and professional, yet warm and welcoming. The chef is excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra day, and will definitely stay there again. |

The castle was very welcoming and the staff was wonderful. It was elegant, yet unpretentious and felt like it was livid-in rather than stiff and snooty. We especially enjoyed the resident Irish Wolfhound that "guarded" the front door (slept on the doorstep !). Our stay was a dream come true at an affordable price. We would recommend for a bit more attention to details, i.e. beneath the bathroom sink there was a water leak, the bathroom window curtains and the carpet beneath the wall heater was layered in dust. The music during our stay was the same CD played over and over, and we would have welcomed a variety of Irish music. |

We stayed here for a family wedding and found the place, location and staff more than excellent if that is possible. A wonderful weekend. There was absolutely nothing to say in this category |

I loved the fact that it was a castle. The furnishings were great, the breakfast was excellent. The dogs were so friendly. I loved it. The TV remote was missing, and I prefer separate shaampoo and conditioner, but these were minor things. |

The room and breakfast were lovely. They have a gorgeous irish wolfhound, who wanders around the castle. |

The food was excellent. The room was lovely. There is a nice relaxed atmosphere. They have 2 adorable dogs and i loved the way they are just hanging out in the house. On a Sunday, breakfast being over at 10am is a little early, especially the morning after Ireland winning the Grand Slam! |

Nice breakfast with delicious bread, big rooms. There was no welcome at all, we just got the keys. Way overpriced, especially compared to our good experiences with other Irish accommodations. |

Walking the Irish Wolfhound around the garden, and the breakfast Shame the new wing got such dodgy builders in. Although very confortable the build quality was shocking |
