Everything about Ballyvaughan Lodge was wonderful from the warm friendly welcome from Gerry and Angela to the fabulous room and the beautiful bed linen to the amazing breakfast next morning... one of the nicest/best B&B's I've stayed in

This is a 5 star B&B and not just for the accommodation but the warm hospitality and guidance given by our hostess. Everything from advice, directions, and helpful tips were offered. Plus the cloth napkins were a nice touch.

A really lovely place. The room and shared areas are beautiful, the breakfasts are great and the service as a whole is most professional as well as friendly.

The only downside was that the WiFi didn't extend well to our room but there was a public room which we could use to access it.

This was a fantastic place to stay with a really warm friendly welcome. Ballyvaughan has some nice pubs and places to eat and is worth spending a night or two here. We thought the breakfast at Ballyvaughan Lodge was second to none - excellent! Pet friendly is an added bonus.

    Leaving!

    Everything was perfect!

There was no Wi-Fi signal in our bedroom most of the time or it was so poor that it didn't work anyway...

The breakfast was excellent - loads of fresh seasonal fruit, local cheeses. The hostess, Pauline, prepared excellent hot breakfast. The scrambled egg with smoked salmon was perfect as were the other offering in the full Irish breakfast. The hostess and host, Pauline and Gerry were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful - giving good local tips. Location is excellent and there is ample parking. The room was spotless.

We just cannot think of anything negative about this place.

everything! owners were lovely, very friendly and informative on what to do in area. Breakfast is probably best choice and quality that I have ever got in a B&B, amazing range. Room was lovely, very tastefully decorated. the appearance of the B&B gardens with the flowers, gorgeous. 30 seconds to main st with restaurants, pubs and shops, 5 minutes walk to harbour. I will be back for a much longer stay next time.

Jerry was a wonderful host with a wicked sence of humour. The breakfast was by far the best in our 8 breakfasts in Ireland. Room was excellent and the village a wonderful place to visit for a pint and meal.

Pauline and Gerry were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The value was great (we had just come from the mainland of Europe and there was no comparison re value). Location was perfect.

That our stay was too short!

Pauline and Jerry were perfect hosts, offering a wonderful breakfast and a truly comfortable stay. They were very helpful with sightseeing and restaurant information, and a pleasure to chat with. The lodge is a beautiful house with a wonderful garden, a two minute walk to a variety of restaurants in town, and situated conveniently to tour the Burren and the western coast or Ireland. Will definitely stay here again if our travels take us near! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Hosts were very very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was spectacular. Front lounge was beautiful and very comfortable.

Rooms were smaller than expected. A bit tight for a couple.
