I only stayed overnight but I have stayed in this hotel before, a few times. It's quiet, no pressure, easy going. I like the location and the hotel's hassle free atmosphere. Simple, budget accomodation suits me great. No, I was quite happy with everything, as I expected it to be. |

It was close to Dublin city centre which is what I wanted. There was plenty to do round it and it was situated in a nice enough area. |

The shower/bathroom has cracked floor tile with loose tile fragments which is both unsafe and unhygenic |

The staff was friendly and helpful. Also met some locals in the hotel pub that were pretty entertaining and helpful. The hotel was very different than advertised. There was no restuarant. The room was not very clean and it smelled of cigerettes. The room was very small and for the price I was disapointed. This hotel is also attached to a lap dance place that seemed a little trashy. |

There wasn't anything that I liked about the Barry's Hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The entire hotel itself......the room, the beds, the bathroom...basically everything. It was the worts. |

I paid a discount rate which was fair for what you get but Hotel is not worth its normal full rate. The hotel needs a facelift/refurbishment and certainly would not suit someone with mobility difficulties. The stairs are quaint but quite a trek. |

One of the reception staff was very nice. She was a dublin girl. She asked the male on duty to carry our bag upstairs as two of our party were disabled.. He refused. |
