Had lovely big family room very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Had one person who's ceoliac in the family and there was only bread alternative offered at breakfast. St. Colman's cathedral across the way with bells ringing at all hours but not the hotels fault.

Friendly staff especially Kevin at reception. great view from our room. large room and comfy bed.

As usual we were in the furthest room from reception and up three flights of stairs, no lift and carting two heavy suitcases and hand luggage. this seems to happen in all our accommodatiom bookings. is this because the rate may be a bit cheaper booking online.

Titanic museum, shops, restaurants, ocean views.

Street train guy showed up late morning (11am) and he told us he'd leave anywhere from 20m to an hour. Missed sightseeing the town because he was on his own time. maybe next time!

Friendly staff, good location, spacious room. We enjoyed staying in Cobh. If you aren't driving beware that the the hotel is up the hill from the main town – but you get great views as the hotel name suggests.

Great service; fantastic location overlooking the harbour and the cathedral; convenient for the town so you can leave the car at the hotel and walk; excellent breakfast; close to a wide range of things to do and see; a massive room that could easily sleep 6 - and I had it to myself!

I understand that the Chinese Restaurant in the hotel is superb but for me I would have liked a reasonably full European menu as well. I am probably in the minority and I knew this in advance so it's not really a complaint! (Nearby there are lots of places to eat so nobody will go hungry!)

Room was beautiful, view amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and pub on site were both terrific. Stayed in this same location 10 years ago and it is still fabulous and one of our favorite places in the world to visit.

I could have done with more cooking utensils, all in all, Great place to stay and fantastic sea view, Warm and friendly staff, Highly recommended.

You can hear every footstep from the room above you, They need to notify their guest about that, and when there is a pary you can hear all the noice from the bar downstairs,Which is ok so long as it does not go on till 1am in the morning, abit too much when you need to sleep,

Size of room was good and clean, staff very friendly and helpful, food was great :)

Didnt like Locks on doors, double bed wasnt comfortable and was small, very noisy dont know if it was staff and guests walking about at 6-7am but heard loud footsteps above and on stairs.

Location, rooms and staff were great

There is no bar fridge in rooms. Although staff were happy to put perishables in kitchen fridge, a fridge in room would be much more convenient, especially with young children (milk). Buffet breakfast was not great- tinned fruit salad and rock hard, dry rock buns!

Big and clean room. Good breakfast.

During my trip to Ireland, I stayed in 11 different hotels. Most of them were booked through, just like Bella Vista, but this was the only one that charged the rate 48 hours prior to my arrival, in my creditcard, without asking me if I would like to pay in cash. Not nice at all...

Great location for Cobh and Fota Island which is what we were looking for, large rooms great for kids, double bed and two singles. Good TV, WiFi excellent for NetFlix. Cost was excellent for size of family room, TV & WiFi

Need to tell people how breakfast works, sometimes there's buffet, sometimes you order, with 2 kids that can become stressful if your waiting to get an order in or needing to get something on a plate That said great view and enjoyed the full irish.
