Tea, coffee and biscuit on arrival. Lovely garden which we could access from our room.
The best breakfast of the trip, possibly best breakfast ever
Busy road but we did not have a noise issue. A bit too far to walk to the city
Easy to find on the main road, comfortable rooms with good breakfast
after 11pm it is impossible to contact any staff in an emergency
The room was clean, large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Lots of room in parking area.
The breakfast was the best I've had in years, the beds were comfortable and made freshly every day, nice tv, wifi, friendly staff, bus stop outside the door, bath
Some facilities not the newest but nothing that impaired comfort
We arrived early at Belvedere because of an early flight from England, We just wondered if we could maybe drop our luggage off and return later for our room, To our astonishment Vincent our host invited us in and ordered coffee and toast for us, the staff were so nice and within 20 minutes our room was made ready, We were so grateful and cant praise Vincent and his staff enough ,Many thanks to them
cant think of anything
everything Breakfast was very good.
Liked the breakfast
Good bed,the best food,great staff.
Road noise,right on main road.
The ambiance, the staff, the food, quietness
Nothing, top drawer
We asked for a room at the back and were given it. We arrived late but were warmly welcomed. Tea and coffee were available in the ensuite room which was warm, comfortable, clean and cosy. There was great choice of what to have for breakfast. Very friendly service.
A bit difficult to locate initially. Now we know where it is we have even more reason to stay there.
They did our laundry reasonably priced and good job Helpful staff
Hard to drive in Cork, take a cab. Bed was a little hard
Excellent breakfast cooked by Vincent
Access onto road
We were driving and it had parking in the front yard. This used to be the Govenor's house and it is very grand. Staff were lovely - very friendly and relaxed. Room overlooked the back garden and was quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money.
It poured rain all the time - can't control the weather!
Breakfast and staff good and owner very helpful which obviously came from his pride in Cork and his hotel.
The location of our rooms on the top floor which involved much huffing and puffing.g getting the luggage to the rooms
Excellent breakfast, Good location close to city.
Shower facilities should be upgraded and maintained
The staff where friendly
My shower was awful! It stop half way thru washing my hair , then after 5 minutes of trying to get it going and becoming cold it randomly started . It was a it out of town , but buses available. Wifi was hopeless in room.
Bathroom. Large with good water pressure. Room was large.
Location. On a very busy street and traffic noise all night. I would not consider this facility a B&B...it is a large hotel with 24 rooms.
Distance from town
Good and healthy breakfast.....helpful and friendly staff.
Our room at the Belvedere was better than a hotel room! Loved that there was shampoo and moisturiser provided in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was delicious with helpful staff. Highly recommended.
We changed our booking from a double to a triple room. The room was cancelled via booking.com and a new room type booked with ZERO cancellation fees. Over R2000.00 was charged to my card as cancellation fees and in spite of numerous emails sent to try and query this, they have not bothered to responded. We were thus double charged for our stay. This is fraud and this establishment should be avoided at all costs!! They are dishonest and their client service levels are non existant giving both the B&B and booking.com a tarnished track record.
Good breakfast and friendly staff.
Location terrible as too far from city centre and nowhere to get a meal within easy distance. Also noisy as near major road network. Bed saggy, blankets rough and pillows hard.
Fact you would forget you were right beside one of the busiest main roads in Ireland. Venue was lovely, breakfast was spot on and room was clean. Belvedere is complemented by a lovely garden and beautiful reception area. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Also, fact that you are right beside the main road makes access to the city and locations outside the city very easy.
Getting lost looking for my room he he.
