i liked everything excellent accomodation the staff were very helpful and very friendly , especially Valerie
Friendly staff very helpful, great location next to the bus station and city center and spar market.
Iron and hair dryer shower could be better.
SMELL OF SURRIDGE IN CORRIDORS
Excellent location with friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and very good food. It must be good I have stayed there more than a dozen times.
Only fault but a very minor one is that breakfast is now served in the barand not in the dining room as in the past.
Staff were very helpful bathroom was big
The hair dryer and where it was positioned in the room should be near the full length mirror or a plug point to plug your own in, Plus the lighting was poor in the room where the mirror was ..
The central location of the hotel and close proximity to the train and bus stations.
The smell in the corridor leading to room 114 on the first floor. It resembled the smell of sewage. Also the floor in the bar had been revarnished and left a very strong and lingering smell. The casual are close to reception was very grotty with debris on tables. lso A
Smell in room? Could not define it, sort of musty, damp. Did not complain as we have stayed loads of times and were always satisfied.
A generally comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but with a large, excellent bathroom. Food was good, particularly breakfast.
Great central location
Heating was not working in our bedroom. We had to complain three times to hotel staff; the first two staff did absolutely nothing; the third one ( on our second freezing night of wearing coats in the bedroom!!!) said the heating was not working in that old part of hotel & moved us to a new room. No apologies from management, no discount, nothing. I had phoned in advance of booking to ask if there is a gluten free menu and had been reassured my partner, a severe coeliac, would be catered for. In fact, we couldn't eat in the hotel at all; the staff had no clue whether food was or wasn't gluten free and were not helpful. The service was absolutely appalling; loads of people complaining; there was often nobody at the reception desk and only one young totally untrained boy behind the bar who had no clue about food and was left on his own serving food & drinks very poorly. I asked to speak to a manager and so did two other people; none available. Reception staff said our complaints were logged; however again no redress or acknowledgment or apology. Extremely disappointing and needs a lot of improvements, wouldn't recommend at all.
Stayed here to attend a gig in limerick.
Would be disappointed if this was my 2week holiday hotel
Receptionist was very helpful. Young girl can't remember her name
Hotel was generally dull and dreary.
plug in room was not working so my phone never charged. corridor outside our room stank of sewrage. tv remote didn't work so tv was blaring. tap in bathroom was very difficult to turn off and wudn't completely
Location Staff was friendly and ready to help
I haven't been informed on arrival about 24hours wi-fi code and that the hotel main door are being locked at 11pm every night, what was a bit weird for me. I also never met before with paying for my stay on arrival.
Staff are excellent. Brian at reception was a gem and Robbie in the bar was very helpful. Nice and clean.
Shower needs updating is all.
Nice friendly bar with good food, good location, clean
It was quite noisy in the early hours, parking is limited
Heating was not working in our room (310) I don't think it was working any were on the 3rd floor they did give us a small fan heater that was OK but heating was still not on when we were leaving the next day we arr on the 1 Nov and dep on the 2nd
Rooms are lovely and clean, bar and loby clean and inviting, front desk staff were lovely
There was a terrible smell of the toilets at the breakfast buffet the next morning, also on both my stays here there was one staff member who.was so rude (an Indian women long black hair)
Middle of Limerick City.was ideal location. Staff v. Helpful.
staff are just great they try there best and more
had the night club right under us and we were unable to sleep parking was so poor when we returned to parking so cars had taken two parking spaces staff member gave us his parking space
Friendly staff, central location, access to secure parking, reasonably priced
There was a smell of sewage in corridor and room, felt like it lacked ventilation in general. There was no lid on toilet and cracked tiles in the bathroom. Decor bit outdated, could do with a facelift
Close to shops but yet far enough away from noise of nighttime revellers. Rooms were clean
Smell of smoke in lift and smell of sick in hallway on 1st floor. Lift itself could have been cleaner
