bedroom was clean and comfortable. The quality of the breakfast was excellent The male restaurant manager was very helpful and courteous. the standard of evening restaurant food was very poor. The queque to enter the restaurant for breakfast was unacceptable. The carpets and general decor in the hallways were grubby and in need of refurbishment. The Bar area was untidy and also in need of redecoration.

The decor was beautiful. There was a problem with our first room but the staff were more than accommodating and our room was changed. The food was delicious and staff couln't have been more friendly or helpful. Within walking distance of Funtasia and Bettystown beach, perfect for our 2 young children.

Location Sheets, towels and bathroom were clean. Very disappointed with this hotel . For an Hotel which is only 5 years old it is very grubby. Dirty carpets and dirty walls and doors in the rooms. Catches broken off the windows and broken shelves in the clothes hanging area.

Bedroom was nice size, Breakfast had plenty of food, loved the spacous reception area. Lounge bar was ok especially the service. Bar staff were really nice and patient with everyone..thanks for that guys.. We didn't get to enjoy the pool because of our short stay, but it looked good. Great value for the reduced price we paid. Well there are always some little things when one starts looking at the place one is paying for. Here goes..First I noticed many stains on the carped in our room, one window was locked, there were butts of cigs etc. thrown out on the balcony outside our room, there were no cups for our tea or coffee, no ironing facilities, no information about the hotel available, there seemed to be only lift service from the 2nd. Floor. There was a fire door ok, maybe that was a stairs exit. Our son was really dissapointed that he couldn't get the internet in the room or lobby. The staff tried to help as wuch as they could..but no good. The dinner in the restaurant was ok. I would like to see a better variety on the menue. We've had more friendly service in other hotels. For example: one of our chairs was broken, that could have caused a bad injury, and the waitress just shrugged her shoulders, put it aside, and replaced it with another one..no apology at all. I hope you will find this helpfull to improve the little things that helps make you hotel to be a better place to stay. These are small issues, but can be important to many. I will nevertheless stay in your hotel in the future..thanks..Margaret.

The swimming pool facilities were excellent. Not by way of complaint, but purely for information, the bar/restaurant staff didn't seem to know what time last meals were served as I witnessed this discussion between them. (Myself and my four fellow hotel guests - whose room I also paid for - showed up for dinner at around 7:40p.m. - we were informed that last orders were at 8:00p.m. and I overheard one member of staff saying that the pub's last food orders were at 8:30p.m.) The breakfast servers seemed quite disorganised, for example, we were served coffee but had to go in search of cups and cereal bowls ourselves. The wait staff seemed stressed and disinterested in the guests while we were there. There was only one towel in our bathroom so I had to ask for more towels as there were 2 of us in the room.

We found Bettystown Court Hotel to be very child friendly. Staff was pleasant, polite and helpful. We enjoyed the leisure facilities. The hotel is also within 20 minutes travelling time to Funtasia Waterpark. Also the hotel is within 40 minutes drive of Tayto Park. Whenever we asked for directions to attractions staff were able to provide this information. No lock on bathroom door.

Driving out !!! I stayed last weekend at this hotel and have to say it was the worst place I have ever stayed.firstly the hotel was run down and is in dire need of a facelift I.e worn down carpets bad decore etc secondly the breakfasts where great if you like hospital food didnt even turn up for the next day breakfast Thirdly there are no stairs to access your room only two lifts that are continually jammed packed with screaming kids so waiting for periods of time to get to your room is frustrating (how this passed building control i'll never know)

Family friendly atmosphere, yet a reasonable amount of comfort for the price. I nearly didn't book after reading some other reviews online, but have to say that our experience was not the same as the reviews. We really enjoyed our stay. I found the room comfortable and enjoyed reading my book looking out over the mountains and the sea in comfortable chairs. Sticky tables in the bar and some dodgy glasses and cutlery
