Very good,
Score from 1404 reviews
Boasting spacious rooms with private bathrooms, Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge is a beautifully restored 19th-century Masonic orphan’s school. Close to the RDS, the Air Coach and city buses stop right outside the hotel. Bedrooms feature fluffy comforters and hypo-allergenic pillows. Rooms are soundproof and have desks with lamps and free Wi-Fi. Traditional breakfasts are served each morning, with light snacks and a traditional roast meal through the day. In the evening, international cuisine is served in the Brasserie Restaurant. With its stained glass windows, high ceilings, oak paneled walls and original mosaic tiling, the restored Thomas Prior Hall is the jewel in the crown of this beautiful hotel. With the O2 Arena nearby, Tom’s Bar is the perfect place for a pre-concert drinks and food. The Aviva Stadium and the Grand Canal are both less than 1 mile from Bewleys Hotel Ballsbridge. I liked its location, comfortable rooms, a lovely looking hotel.. There was a Man at reception who was very very rude.. And I will be putting in a formal complaint with Bewleys.. I stayed there for the dublin horse show and as I had stayed there the previous year and had no problems I was shocked at the bad manners of the staff this year.. Cleaners trying to get in to clean the room at 9am in the morning and another lady knocking to doors at 11:45am on the day of departure.. We had already brought our bags to the car and were just having a final check to see we had everything out of the room.. But we clearly had 15mins left.. I felt like I had payed 127 euro per night to stay in a cattle mart!! Not to mention the further 36euro to park my car and the couple of hundred euro myself and my friends spent in the hotel on food and drink I am very disappointed with Bewleys this year and will not stay there again next year!!!

Likes: Parking garage and price. Dislikes: It's a maze to get from the parking garage up to the rooms, and the signage is entirely inadequate. We had reserved our room for 4 occupants, and we arrived to find only 2 towels. Breakfast is pricey, so were were glad we ventured out and stumbled across Roly's Bistro. Wi-fi access is limited to the lobby. Attractions are a far walk. I recommend staying elsewhere.

Location & price The fact that there appear to be signs all is not well financially - the toilet seat was broken and the bed linen had a very large hole in it.

The location and staff I booked in January 2012 and asked for a non - smoking room. I was given a smoking room on the first night and changed on the second night. I would have expected to have a non smoking room given the amount of lead - in time from January to May!

It's a very good place to stay! Nice territory, nice and clean room, very quite and very close to the downtown, just few stops with the bus, which stops straight opposite hotel! The only minus - quite expensive breakfest and we had to go outside to have a better choose for the same value. But the territory is green and nice, the staff is very helpful and nice. We did like it a lot! Very organic and nice hotel!

The check in staff were very friendly, our room was a good size, tea and coffee supplied in room which is great on arrival. My friend lost her handbag in reception and someone handed it into reception with everything perfect inside, wonderful!! We are middle aged women who had to attend a conference that weekend and we decided to have a meal on the Saturday night, it was the best meal I have had in years, it was early bird and €25 each, we added two bottles of wine and enjoyed a great relaxed meal, the food was scrumptious, I had steak, medium rare, perfect!! Mmmm. One of the morning I had breakfast and the selection was brilliant. I would gladly go back again and would recommend it to everyone. The only down part was €10 car park fees per night but my car was safe and that made me happy. Just the parking fees, its a bit annoying to have to pay to park thats all, everything else was brilliant.

I liked the actual design of building. Bar food was good and reasonably priced. Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient. Was very nice stayand would not hesitate to use this hotel again. I thought the lounge area was a little chilly. The room was a bit on the small side. Breakfast was expensive..
