Just a 20-minute walk from central Dublin, the DoubleTree Dublin Hotel has a 24-hour fitness center with views of the city, a chic bar, and an elegant restaurant.
Score from 1557 reviews Very good
Bewleys is a modern, informal hotel, just off of the M50 and N11 on the N31 Leopardstown road.

In the stylish Ballsbridge district just 15- to 20-minute walk from Dublin's center, the elegant Clyde Court Hotel is located next to the Aviva Stadium and the RDS.
Score from 1302 reviews Very good
Hot breakfst was cold. Coffee was lukewarm nd chairs made a terrible screaching noise on the floor every time anybody moved.
As usual Bewleys was excellent. Very good bar staff. Toms Bar is excellent for food.
Great location - very easy to get to with airport bus. Beautiful and distinctive Victorian building. I also liked the bar and the restaurant
i stayed with my mother we went to knitand stitch show the location was the closest as you could get everything was great and we will define rely return!
The staff were friendly and helpful and the services were prompt.
Overall hotel was very good. Location was ideal as it's far enough away from the city centre to be relatively quiet but close enough to get in to town quickly and conveniently. Bar was large and friendly and well stocked with comfortable seating and good low lighting. Room a reasonable size and an extremely comfortable bed. Room was a pleasant temperature which is a refreshing change from the normal sub tropical heat we experience in hotels and was, along with the comfort of the bed, was probably the reason for the excellent nights sleep we experienced.
Reception far too small for the influx of guests we experienced leading to a long wait. Pro active staff would have addressed the waiting crowd and suggested they would be dealt with as speedily as possible. This did not happen. Staff extremely slow to respond to a room request we made and a follow up call had to be made to Reception to chase. We were asked on checking in if, on the basis that we were staying for 2 nights, if we wanted to pay for 2 days breakfasts to which we agreed. Our subsequent travel arrangements on our last morning were awkward so we did not attend for our, paid for, breakfast as the restaurant did not open until 7.30am. On checkout Reception staff made no adjustment or refund despite being asked and simply suggested it was company policy not to refund. We feel that we were pressured into the purchasing of the 2 days breakfasts, had we been advised at the outset that there would be no refund we would not have elected to choose, and pay for, 2 breakfasts. It may seem a minor point but the breakfasts were not inexpensive.
Room bunk beds location
The menu in the restaurant is fairly restricted. Please include more family friendly options. The vegetables should be included with the main course. This could be a good selling point for families staying at your hotel.
Very handy to city centre and aviva
Room front desk location
Restaurant good but cold starter and wrong main course served. But items withdrawn from bill. Car parking chaeges outrageous.
Friendly staff...comfortable room...nice food, lively bar, excellent
Would never even mention other than being asked but the toilet roll supplies were not replenished during room, other than that nothing
Communal areas were very spacious and comfortable. On our first day it rained heavily and did not stop. We just stayed in the hotel and had a fabulous dinner in Tom' Brasserie. Then enjoyed a few drinks in the hotel bar. All staff were very polite and friendly. The lady who served the food in the cafe was very funny. We had a large room. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. We used this hotel last year when we attended a wedding and we would certainly use it when we next visit Dublin.
We can honestly say there was nothing we did'nt like about Bewleys. For some people taxis might be needed to get to the city centre but we just walked. It was a 20-25 minute walk to Grafton St. and we found this ideal to walk off our hearty breakfasts. Also several buses take you to the city centre for just over 2 euros. Buses stop right outside Bewleys.
Good location as it is easy to access the city centre.
Staff were unfriendly. Extra charge for parking and breakfast meant it wasn't great value. I had my breakfast plate finished before I was asked if I wanted coffee or toast. The bar closed early, something I've never encountered before. I'd never use Bewley's again.
location, facilities, superb and spacious room, overall quality, politeness and friendliness of staff
Convenient for RDS, Aviva Stadium and the DART into town. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was enjoyable.
The room was too warm and it was not obvious if a temperature control was available. Fully open window was the only respite.
Issue at checkout when a member of staff threatened disciplinary action on another member of staff who had facilitated me.
Very enjoyable stay with my son. Such a comfortable nights sleep and a fantastic breakfast to set us up for the next day
Breakfast arrangements poor. Staff handling of complaint poor. Slight difference between Booking.com and hotel conditions
Our stay at Bradley's was pure enjoyment .restaurant and bar staff very professional very friendly an above average hotel in all respects.
Room, breakfast, location.
Bewleys in Ballsbridge was great value & excellent service. Staff were so helpful. Room was Spotlessly clean & beds were so comfortable I had good nights sleep
Large bottle of water was €4.00 in room but same bottle was €5.00 in bar to take away (no glass required)
The location was a big factor in selecting this hotel.
We had booked several months in advance expressing that we required 2 x double beds in a room as we travelling with 3 small children. Disappointing is an understatement to say that the hotel allocated us a room with 1 x double, 1 x single and a 'broken' camp bed! For over an hour I was informed that the hotel did not have any other rooms to accommodate us. When I requested that we be moved to another hotel suddenly a room that met our requests was immediately free.
directions back to reception once you wish to return from your room
Spacious, clean rooms, fantastic food with excellent service. Very helpful friendly staff. the hotel was clean and tasteful, and we got reimbursed 50% on the room for the inconvenience of the Friday night disturbance.
A wedding on the Friday night kept myself and my husband awake until 1:30 in the morning.
The setting is great...just seconds from pubs and bars of Ballsbridge and a lovely 20 min walk into the city centre with plenty of buses. really comfy beds , friendly staff and a great breakfast. My son was treated really well by everyone with great value kids breakfast too.
curtain broken but didnt bother us..only there 1 night.
The hotel was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. The beds are the best beds I have ever slept in whilst staying at a hotel.
On the first morning we went down for breakfast to be told we had not booked breakfast. I said I booked it online and then was asked for my paper work to prove this. I had to go back up stairs to my room get the paper work to prove I had booked this then go to reception who had to sort it out. I believe this to be a fault of online booking system someone had not updated it or sent it through.
