Nice food, when it arrived
Very slow service in the bar for both food and drink.
I was in my cousins wedding and it was held in the hotel, so I decided to book a room for the night of the ceremony. It was the nicest experience being a guest in this hotel.
The only downside was the corridors were so long lol
The relaxed atmosphere.
Location was good.
Some of the Staff at the counter we're not helpful. They hadn't enough staff on and when asked questions we're not helpful.
Friendly staff. Good bed
Paying for car park facilities, plus carpark was full Friday night.
My booking was last minute and as a result booking.com did not issue a confirmation and this caused a 30 minute delay in checking in.... However a very obliging Alesandro tried everything possible to remedy this as best and as fast as he could.
Lovely shower, nice modern bathroom, comfortable clean room, ironing facilities and spacious
no kettlle or tea making facilities in the room
Beautiful hotel, staff fantastic, had a great time
The spaciousness. Decor food was excellent
No tea/coffee making facilities in room. No doors on wardrobe. Was not told at sign in that I could not charge to my room. Towels were mean and very thin.
I was attending a wedding at this hotel. During the reception I dropped something off in the room at which point the lock broke leaving me unable to close the door. By the time the staff had looked at it and relocated me I'd missed an important part of the wedding ceremony. My complaints about this went unanswered, I had to re-tell my story to various staff members who refused to take responsibility, instead referring me to the manager who not there. I left a written complaint but heard nothing back. Terrible service, I will not be staying here again.
The location worked well for a shopping trip to Dublin (Dundrum) and Dinner in Roly's Bistro just down the road. We couldn't fault the rooms. They were comfortable and clean. We were only disturbed by another guest knocking on a neighbouring door returning after a late night. It was essentially a quiet hotel.
We were underwhelmed by the lobby area. That coupled with an unenthusiastic welcome from reception staff left us feeling as if we'd just entered a business hotel rather than embarked on a momentous experience! We asked if we were far away from a neighbouring (well known!) restaurant - Roly's Bistro. We were met with a blank gaze! She responded with 'I haven't a clue' and that was the end of it. No effort made to establish even from another member of staff where it was. Luckily we have google maps on our phones! We stayed in a triple room and were allocated a basement room the corridors of which were a bit dismal. Very much like entering an apartment block even if the corridors were nicely carpeted. We enjoyed our trip but will not be returning to this particular hotel again.
There were hairs under the bottom sheet on the mattress cover. There should be no charge for residents parking.
very comfortable, very welcoming, always a pleasure to stay at Bewleys ballsbridge. great bus and dart service enabeling one to leave the car in the car park, go to the city center and return without the hastle of driving around the city center.
We had a corner deluxe room on the 4th floor, which was spacious, bright and extremely comfortable. Had a great night's sleep! Breakfast, whilst busy, was excellent - a huge variety of foods to suit all tastes and plenty of it! The management and staff at breakfast service were top class.
The public areas were a bit shabby and uncoordinated and the lunch/early afternoon staff just a bit too casual and disinterested - the downstairs lounge was not busy, nevertheless I had to clear the table before sitting down and no-one noticed! Breakfast staff in contrast could not have been more attentive and helpful, inspite of the huge numbers present.
Paying for parking as a guest is very annoying. It smacks of greed, and has an unwelcoming effect.
Had stayed previously at hotel , lots of space for young children , staff very helpful at check in and welcoming . Ate in restaurant one night , good choice of children's menu and staff attentive . Good location and parking facilities . Will be back again
Family double room has two double beds , not sure if there was an option for one double and two singles, which would have suited us better . Not a major issue but would have suited us better for our three year olds.
Irish coffees and breakfast was lovly
Basic services in bedroom, tea coffee not included. 4 Euro if you drank water provided. Shower Services Not up to standerd
Bewleys has easy access to transport by bus,Dart,or taxi. Very comfortable communal areas with good service.
Expensive bar prices though!
the location of the hotel was great with the RDS bus stop only a 2 minute walk away and from there less than 10 minutes right into the centre of the city.
Location,Friendly and efficient Staff, Nice tasty food, Comfortable Room, Dart and Bus into Town close-by
Great location for visiting Dublin
The hotel was a quiet retreat after spending the day walking the streets of Dublin. It was too far to walk to the City Centre but rather close to a train station that took you there within minutes. It was nice to have both a restaurant and bar (with bar foods) all contained within the hotel complex itself (although expensive). The water, morning cookies, etc. was part of the room cost.
The bed in my room was hard as they come (which is fine, I guess, if you like hard beds). My knees are bruised and scraped from trying to use the desk with very little leg room and sharp edges.
Very warm in the room, was hard to sleep at times even though it was early December ! No one told us and we didnt see a sign that breakfast finished at 10:30am SHARP,..not sure that i will at this hotel again,
