The Residents Bar could have had a bigger menu.(For evening meal)
Although outside the city, this hotel was ideally located for our visit. It's not expensive so we didn't expect too much but our room was spotlessly clean with everything we wanted. There was live music in the spacious & pleasant bar. Breakfast was varied & good value. All the staff we met were attentive & welcoming. Would stay here again.
We got there late.and the night staff were very warm and kindly understanding..very nice ...
Free strong wifi and location. House keeping staff very helpful, nothing too much.
Lack of sleep on our first night because someone was having a party in the next room to us. Phoned reception and they sent security up to the room. I heard the security guy tell them we complained and mentioned our room number..... after this it got really bad with knocking on our door and banging our walls ect. This went on till 4am. Night staff didn't seem to care!!!!!!!! Poor service in Bar area and made to feel like we where an inconvenience to staff. For example... we would be waiting everytime 15mins to 20mins for our order to be taken... while people who just took there seats had there order taken before us. Food is over priced and to be honest it is nothing special. Staff seem to give you a starter and main course together for some reason. On one evening we went to a near by Hotel............ "Abberley Court Hotel" and found the food amazing and felt more welcome than we did in our 5 nights at Bewleys.
I liked the staff the room was spacious tv and wifi was good, and food was very good both breakfast and evening. Breakfast is served at 06.30am which is great when you have early starts and there is plenty of it. Staff there are very helpful
Other guests didn't seem to care when walking through halls, this one can handstand up to 11pm but after this people should realise that other people are trying to sleep who have early starts, on this night at 04.00am some drunken guests were going to rooms by stubbing through the corridor and then ending up banging on doors.
Clean rooms, nice restaurant and lounge
No air conditioning.
Got infection after using cups No ventilation works in bathroom Old and dirty bed-sofa Noisy carpark Hidden costs after buying breakfast vouchers The shampoo is given as hand soup
Family friendly hotel with good sized room.
breakfast buffet area was to small for the room, this caused some delay and confusion. We would have liked more gluten free options to be available.
The breakfast was nice
Some of the other guests were very noisy, children running around the hotel playing games
Very courteous staff on front desk
Guests in our party were kept awake because of noise on the corridor. 4th floor
Two kids had separate beds in our room Breakfast was good
Some dirt on breakfast plates Could hear pub band in bedroom, might bother some people.
Comfortable rooms and good food, helpful staff
Rooms were clean and spacious. Convenience to Cork road. The young girl that check us in at the front desk on the first day was very nice.
Rude Staff. Noise from surrounding rooms. No facilities for residents downstairs. The residents lounge was being used as a bar. Only 2 small tables in the foyer which seated about 7/8 people. Breakfast too expensive €12 per person if not booked at time of booking. Not enough towels in the bathroom. Had booked for 3 adults and only got 1 bath towel. Had to ring for more. TV not working discovered aerial out of the back of it. Awakened in the morning at 6am by crying babies, screaming children and parents cursing at them. The walls were so thin we could hear the people in the next room using the bathroom. Was going to complain on check out but the girl checking me out did not even ask if everything was ok which they usually do on check out. Did leave a card in the room which I filled out with my complaints and left my name and phone number. I am a seasoned traveller and have stayed in several Bewley's hotels but this has been my worse experience in a hotel yet.
everything was excellent value. food was good, service good and the room was comfortable
Ideal Location coming off the N7 plenty of Parking
Directions to the Red Cow Park and Ride a bit fluffy. Our first time using it but we located it
Ease of checking in and out. Very quiet.
Couldn't get wi-fi on my worktop.
Very spacious room
Smell of stale smoke out of room. Towels were ripped and torn. People running up and down hall banging on doors all night. Attendant on desk shouting at reception desk at guest who were loud could've been more professional. Never stay again Paid cash on arrival and tried to charge again on departure.
the restaurants food was lovely
nothing comfortable about the bed, also actually saw a pubic hair when i pulled back the duvet cover going to bed.
Great breakfast and friendly owner.
Firstly on arrival there was no toilet roll provided in our room. Had to ring reception and have it delivered. On our departure the next morning we noticed the sink in bathroom was blocked and it appeared to be vomit coming back up from the pipes and not ours might I add. Absolutely disgusting as I said never again will I stay here.
