Location is convenient to all centres and transport into town. Rooms tended to be extremely warm & uncomfortable at night. Could do with air conditioning. Can' really open window due to traffic noise.

Took my family up to Dublin for the winter wonderland and decided to book this hotel as i'd stayed there a long time ago and was very happy, couldn't have been more disappointed this time. After phoning the hotel to say we'd be arriving late with 2 tired kids arrived up to the room and told we had to make up the extra bed ourself, as it was late just did it as the kids got their jams on. Next went into the bathroom before bed and toilet set etc covered in poo, so angry but as gone 10.30 cleaned it myself so kids could get to bed. When I complained weren't interested at all! All in all found it a dirty, unhelpful hotel who were more interested in numbers than customer satisfaction. Would not recommend this hotel at all!

Comfort, decor, ambience.Bar man who served me coffee was friendly ,efficient with great people skills.Hotel receptionist with whom I dealt (non-irish,I think) was very helpful in a few situations that arose -- problem with my mobile phone, and my inability to operate mineral dispenser on corridor -- she was just brilliant.

Location good, Menu, not a great choice, kids complained about the food alot off the bar menu, food very basic . Wonder what kind of chef serves up that tasteless food. It would not take much effort to enchance such a basic menu! Defiently menu & food presentation should be reviewed!

Convenient for car drivers, just off the N7. Aldi very close by, also McDonalds. Free car parking, rooms decent enough. The restaurant offers a great value menu for families - EUR 50 for 2 courses per head, including a better than usual children's menu. It'll last for about 3 nights before you run out of options for the kids' menu (spaghetti with tomato sauce, cheese and tomato pizza, 6oz steak, chicken strips, fish strips and burger, all with chips or mash and vegetables. Desserts were banana split, icecream with jelly, chocolate cake). 2 things I couldn't get over: our room had these weird oxygenated showers. The water came out of an opening of about the size of a Euro coin and had so much pressure and air in it that you hardly got wet. It took me ages to wash shampoo out of my hair and it felt unpleasant. Didn't like these showers and this alone might be a reason to not bother with this particular hotel again. Even worse though was the breakfast. Bewleys charges either per item or as a single charge of EUR 10 with limitations on how many items you can pick. A glass of orange juice is EUR 2.50, croissants were about the same. For a family of 4, we would have easily spent EUR 50 on a cooked breakfast and a few cold items on the pay-as-you-go basis. I found the breakfast way too expensive for families and probably geared towards business travellers/single people. The idea of counting each bite into my children's mouth just wasn't appealing, so we went to McDonalds instead which has a McCafe attached.
