This modern, award-winning B&B boasts an extensive breakfast menu, free Wi-Fi, and stylish rooms. With free parking, the 4-star Birchwood is situated in a peaceful location, just a 5-minute stroll from Castlebridge village's restaurants and pubs. The modern en suite rooms are individually decorated, bright and spacious, with 2 ground floor rooms available. The sitting room is equipped with board games, cards, a TV, music centre, videos, as well as DVDs and books. Breakfast is cooked to order and served in the dining room. There is a multi-choice menu, including fresh fruit, juice, and cereals. Full Irish breakfast is available, along with smoked salmon, vegetarian options, and homemade breads and preserves. An extremely warm welcome, the owner has gone the extra mile to ensure the facilities/rooms are a quality standard and the beds are superbly comfortable. We had a very large bedroom and full use of a lovely guest lounge with open fire. The breakfast menu was extremely good and the food delicious. Birchwood House was relaxing and welcoming and at a very good price. It is certainly the place to stay in Co. Wexford.

wonderful host - Iris. Beautiful home. We had our own lounge with fireplace to relax in - would have loved a longer stay. Breakfast choices and quality were amazing. Will be on my list of great accommodation choices!

A lovely quiet tranquil place to stay, family room was large and beautifully finished, beds were very comfortable. 25 mins from Rosslare ferry, an easy drive. We were well looked after, breakfast was given early so we could make our ferry, the food was excellent, and included in the price. Would definitely recommend this to others. It says on the website, you can arrive from 4pm, but on the door its 4.30, no real problem, but good to know.

Birchwood House is set in a quiet location in the small village of Castlebridge, very convenient to Rosslare Ferryport. Rooms are tastefully decorated and impeccably clean and the lady who owns/runs the house is exceptionally friendly and welcoming and she was very accommodating with our breakfast time as we had an early boat to catch. Breaksfast itself was hugely satisfying, very well cooked and presented. All in all a very lovely place and would not hesitate to go back or recommend.

The host, Iris, was caring, knowledgeable and charming. Her home was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. We would highly recommend Birchwood House and hope to return again!

The welcome we received on arrival was so great and made to feel at home, offered tea or coffee when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble. Easy to find and convient for next day tavel to Ferry but ideally would use again for exploring that part of Ireland. Rooms were excellent with en-suite and plenty of room, nice relaxing lounge and superb setting and gardens.

Very friendly and well presented. Excellent breakfast and staff were helpful. We has an early ferry crossing so getting breakfast early was not a problem. Very much appreciated.
