Friendly staff, perfect location for temple bar
I liked most of the hotel ideal location from most places in Dublin and staff were super friendly and just a great hotel.
The bed wasn't the most comfortable
Very noisy as there is a nightclub below the hotel.
Staff very friendly and quick service.
Cleaning of rooms at 2.30p.m.
Location excellent for young people, centre of Temple Bar Dublin nightlife
Too noisy, need to have window open for ventilation, but that makes it extremely noisy with night-time deliveries on the cobblestones.
To much noise from the street. We were not checked on entering the Hotel at night and encountered people on our floor looking for a free room while smoking!
Excellent city centre location.
The staff were polite and careing the food was gorgeous and reasonably priced it was clean and warm
Proximity to city
Night staff seemed like bouncers
The location of the hotel
Couldn't have asked for a better location and everything else was so easily accessed by bus from a stop nearby. Staff very Friendly.
The pub below the hotel had some questionable live music and didn't have a very good atmosphere. Shame because it was such a nice space.
free drink at hotel bar, hotel is right in centre of temple bar
We only stayed for 2 days so didn't expect the maid to come. She did and went beyond what was expected it was fantastic. Beds very comfortable. Big bright rooms. Good tea and coffee facilities. Good amount of towels and changed daily. Great location.
On the 3rd floor the nightclub could be heard, but it wasn't too bad and in the area it is to be expected.
The hotel is located in a very central location and as a city hotel goes, very well priced...
The hotel in general is tired and very noisy. For a Wednesday night, it was like sleeping in a nightclub. Don't expect a good night sleep.
staff vouchers location clean bathroom
coffee (in room & at breakfast) fire alarm waking me up (i know it wasn't their fault though)
I liked the staff, the confortable and localization. It is great !!
Everything - location excellent for Temple Bar area, staff were very helpful - didn't eat at the hotel as had already arranged to eat elsewhere so can't comment on the meals
the only thing i liked about this hotel was the fact that the other occupants of the hotel were friendly
i got no sleep what so ever as the room i was put in was over what sounded like an industrial site, when we came back to the hotel after the show we attended we were treated appauling by the reception staff asking us were we staying in the hotel and can we prove it , now this is definitly acceptable if your approached in a nice friendly manner, i stay in hotels on a regular basis and to say i was disgusted would be an understatement
Overall stay was nice.
Everything was pretty good.
LOCATION Nice room helpful staff bar downstairs
drunks in street at early hours a bit noisy
one block off the main street, two blocks from trinity college and on the quieter edge of the temple bar district. lovely in-house pub with typical decor and good food. excellent helpful staff, lobby is a little plain but rooms comfortable and the price is right.
what's not to like? may be a little noisey on weekends depending on your room.
The hotel was a very good location . Close to everything. Nice and clean and good Breakfast
The room had no aircondition And the noise on the street is very Loud. We could not sleep . And if you closed the window it became very hot
Nothing......could have been a free pint not half
The Vat Bar... food excellent, Hotel fair price, Excellent location.
Bathrooms need upgrading Noise from nightclub
Location was fantastic just what we wanted for this trip. My advice is do not book this hotel if you do not like noise. If it doesn't bother you and you want somewhere within easy reach of everywhere then its a good place to stay. The VAT House pub was excellent, food was really good and breakfast was nice.
Staff at reception were efficient enough but not that friendly, we had to ask about breakfast and we did an early check out and he didn't ask if we had enjoyed our stay just took the key cards and that was it. Pillows were too hard and bed too soft so pretty uncomfortable. We were on the 5th floor and when they say some noise may be heard, is a slight understatement, we were woken at 4.30am by a road sweeper. It was fine for our stay as we expected it. Not sure I would book again.
