Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.

Food was great, and staff were friendly and helpful. Great choice for breakfast too.
No heat!! Rooms were cold and the bar was freezing. Didn't seem to be much heat on at all in the hotel overall. Tv had four stations - not ideal!! Definitely in need of updating throughout.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Well they hardly have any choice as they constantly apologised about the state of the Hotel. Location close to Drogheda, which is hardly a metropolis either.
TV 50 years old and reception poor! Last time this Hotel had a coat of paint and the bedroom and bathrooms had a makeover Napoleon still ruled Europe! Images on website are extremely deceiving and no wonder there are so few.
room very comfortable
tv old fashioned no teletext
The room was big and bed really comfortable, Breakfast was delicious and staff were attentive and pleasant
The Bar Area not very inviting, poorly decorated, the reception area was extremely basic and lacked atmosphere
Bathroom a bit dated
The staff are 100% into customer satisfaction.
The property is being renovated. It's still in need of updates but they are working hard on it. Can't wait until all the work is finished.
The toilet looked old.The heating system needs to be upgraded.
Location and cleanliness is brilliant
The heat in the room was like a sauna.
The food is excellent the best breakfast and dinner we've had in any hotel. The coffee was the best we've had eating out anywhere nice and hot. We would definitely stay here again.
The only negative we have is that we drove past the hotel coming from Dublin and didn't see any signage until we turned back and it was on the other side. The signage was very bad as was the lighting. We were lucky to find the hotel.
Does what it says on the tin .great place to stay
Nothing to dislike
Location,staff, food was very good
Bar area full of draughts. The bedroom was very warm, hard to sleep
The food was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful and nice. Staff very friendly and great with our little 2 year old . Couldn't fault the establishment.
Staff great, leisure center good.
Reception staff are very good
The tv in the room is outdated, very few channels available. It's an after thought!
It was relaxed & peaceful. All amenities needed to have a good time & town close by.
Only 1 night stayed but no complaints that I noticed.
I had lovely time here
The driveway was very dark!
Homely with character Lovely Staff Lovely grounds Lovely breakfast and bar food Pool It will be great when all upgrades complete
Staff. First class.
A bit past it's sell-by date and in need of refurbishment, which is ongoing since our last visit over a year ago!
Good sized room, staff super friendly, great bar and excellent well priced food
It rained but we can't blame the hotel for that.
Tastefully decorated for xmas. Nice food and kids menu!! Garden makeover went well..cannot wait to go back in spring or summer.
Just the corridors from the swimming pool back to the changing room were very cold...
Overall a pleasant stay.
Hotel needs extensive refurbishment inside and out.
The location and the parking facilities are good. The breakfast had a good variety of choices and the service was good. We didn't eat in the hotel at any other time but the bar menu looked ok.
The radiator in the room wasn't working and on the first night there we complained and were given a fan heater. The next morning we complained that there was no hot water in the bathroom and the radiator in the bathroom was also not working. The radiators were bled and worked ok but the hot water couldn't be fixed and we had to change rooms. I had to follow these issues up with staff a number of times and I find it unbelievable that rooms are not checked for the basics like heating and hot water before being let out.
