Situated on Drogheda's main street, in the heart of the center of town, Westcourt Hotel offers a lively bar and comfortable rooms, just a 25 minute drive from Dublin Airport.
Score from 385 reviews Very good
Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.
Score from 191 reviews Wonderful
The Glenside is located in beautiful countryside just a mile from Drogheda and 3 miles from the beach at Bettystown. There is a bar, restaurant and free parking.

Overall an excellent hotel in every way - breakfast superb
Wifi a total rip off. No free period. Minimum payment €12.50. Totally off the wall in this day & age.
very helpful staff clean nice surroundings
long but ok walk to city center
Christopher was very welcoming and warming and very helpful member of the staff
location, free parking and convenient
Dining room staff excellent, as were the bar staff. Food well served and tasty.
Receptionist seemed to have very little information regarding dinner in dining room. actually told us that the bar food is exactly the same and that the dining room is not open, but it was!! A pity as this would have been a good opportunity to take bookings for our evening dinner.
I enjoyed my stay, staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Facilities excellent, room excellent, staff excellent. Meals excellent real value for money. Will definitely be staying again in the future
the breakfasts were quite good. The landscaping was lovely; although the renovation is still in progress.
The bed was horribly uncomfortable. twice we asked for 'wake-up' calls and both times they called us way later than requested. the room temperature was very warm.
Room smelt damp
use of swimming pool room was lovely
Staff were excellent. Have stayed there before and its good to see the on-going improvements being made to the hotel's structure.
There still is work to do. A new carpet in the common hallways would be a good next move.
Grounds Swimming pool Wifi Free parking Relaxed atmosphere
Rooms a little dated Food just okay
Helpful staff Cleanliness
Hotel in need of some updating, but basic facilities good and price reflects current condition fairly
Staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely hotel, excellent facilities. Good food. Delighted to find such a nice place for such a reasonable cost.
Nothing to complain of.
Having stayed in hotel before, strange that an extra charge was made for getting breakfeast to our room in the morning. Checking out an extra charge was demanded. Never charged for other stays but bank holiday a extra charge of €10 why?
Staff were lovely room was clean
TV wouldn't work properly bad reception
We had a refund I felt sorry for receptionist
Dirty room. Marks on walls, grubby grey worn towels. no cover on bed. bathroom door did not shut. curtain far far to short did not cover window and torn. in the middle, carpets worn and crumpled, up bed a very very small double which looked grubby.. whole hotel looked tired and dingy and alll carpets ill fitting and rucked up. I appreciate refurbishment was going on which we not warned about. Men sanding the outside walls, so huge dust clouds, a big digger outside our bedroom window. We would not have slept there we would have slept in the car if need be., A really horrid experience on the last night of our weekend away we had to drive miles towards Dublin to find last moment accommodation and pay far more than need be.Very sad about it all
Very pleasant helpful staff. Set in lovely grounds outside the town.
Service excellent, room very nice & comfortable, WI FI in room, nice restaurant & bar
Excellent meal in on-site restaurant, Helpful staff at Reception Desk who recommended visit to Bray. Easy drive from hotel to Dublin airport
Friendliness and courtesy of staff. Room large and comfortable. The bar service and meals were good value.
Nothing really, external appearance is being revamped so looks a bit faded.
Friendliness & helpfulness of staff Did the 7am bootcamp class was absolutely brilliant. Rooms were clean Shower power was very nice Food was delicious
There was a couple in the room next door to me who were watchin tv very loudly until 2am. That seriously annoyed me.
Location and friendly staff
The pillows on the bed they were very thin just awful.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was very good and my husband could not find fault with the pint of Guinness.
The carpet in our room was very stained and dirty.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the swimming pool was lovely.
As a woman travelling alone, I wanted to have a quick meal in the bar rather than the restaurant. However there was a group of five or six extremely drunk men in the bar using the most disgusting language at the tops of their voices and in fact blocking me completely from getting to the bar to order. I had to do to the other side of the bar to order and to eat my meal, which was cold and not particularly comfortable. Their behaviour was extremely intimidating and unpleasant, and went on for a long time before a member of staff spoke to them, and then they toned down the swearing but continued to be extremely loud and unpleasant. I would not expect this behaviour to be allowed in a hotel, and think they should not have been allowed to get to this state (they were drinking shots alongside regular drinks).
