We had booked a family room for 5 people and instead ended up with a lovely, 2 bedroom suite at the top of the hotel, with two bathrooms and even a small kitchen (which was certainly a bonus when travelling with 3 children). The suite was quiet, clean and well equipped (the two bathrooms were a real bonus and the jacuzzi bath was great!) and the staff were lovely.

The staff were really helpful,the manager was a gem.he helped entertain the children with baloons and paper and coloring pens, was brill with them, will definately stop there again.food was really good,and the guinness I must say was just as it should be.the hotel was clean,an old building but never the less well kept. Thanks bracken for lovely stay.

The hotel is well located in the centre of Balbriggan, within easy reach of Dublin (30 to 40 minutes by car) and seems to be much cheaper than most of the Dublin city centre hotels. There are also plenty of local attractions, such as Ardgillan Castle, the site of the Battle of the Boyne and Malahide. There are several golf courses nearby. The hotel itself was very comfortable, with large en suite rooms and a bar and restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It was close to the conference centre, the staff were friendly - they did manage to lose my wife's nightdress but found it again and apologised profusely! Thew bar food was excellent - good food, well presented and goosd value.

Stayed here for a party, everything was good and it is central in Balbriggan .Great roof top terrace, tho they could do with some seating up there ! Would stay again, food and service great ..... and the car park is directly beside the hotel.

The room was lovely with an extremely comfortable, well presented bed. The bathroom was also immaculate. The hallways in the hotel were also, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. There should be a display in the car park stating free for hotel guests- but this is a very minor issue. There were no exercise facilities- gym/pool, etc. and the spa was closed on Sundays, this was a bit of a let down.

We were visiting and spending each day (4 night stay) with a very ill relative in a Dublin hospital. We arrived each night at the hotel around 11.15 pm. The staff were so courteous, so pleasant, professional, kind ,thoughtful and attentive. They changed our room on the first night because we felt it was quite cold. Our new room was just perfect. It was warm, spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was first class. We had breakfast the first morning and it was simply a delightful experience. With compimentary underground parking it was the perfect hotel for our needs. We thank you most sincerely for making our stay there so special.

Ideal location for visiting family and walks along beach and coastal footpaths. Visiting Dublin and other coastal areas, I found hotel idealy situated. Excellent staff, very heplfull nothing was to much trouble for them. I recommend stying at this hotel.

Very enjoyable trip. Stayed in one of the hotel's executive suites and had no complaints. Staff very friendly. We were a bit disappointed in the one evening meal we booked. Waiting time was over 1 hour and the standard of cooking not great.
