This is a comfortable clean standard hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Silly booking system for restaurant, have to check if restaurant has a table, the have to book and pay at reception before your meal. |

The Price and Location. Looked and felt like a hospital, cheap finish, designed to house drunk wedding guests. |

The room was comfortable and spacious. There were excellent facilities if you had children. Had the weather been good there were fantastic sporty facilities for groups or children. I would recommend this hotel for families but not for couples. We did not have children and the hotel was absolutely full of families. There were children running around the corridors and the reception area non stop. Also from the hotel details on the website I thought that the leisure centre was in the hotel, the receptionist said it was a one minute walk but this was not true, had we known how far away it was we would have taken the car as it was raining. I would recommend this hotel for families but not for couples. |

We actually stayed at the Breaffy House Hotel as the Breaffy Woods was closed and you reserve the right to transfer customers. There was nothing that we disliked about the Breaffy House Hotel. It was comfortable, luxurious and the facilities were good and the staff very pleasant. |

Large bedroom easily coped with three beds and a sofa. Plenty of sockets for re charging cameras etc. Nice quiet setting in large country grounds with pleasant walks. We paid online for a room only rate and when we got there it was not explained that we needed to buy a voucher at reception prior to eating each meal. However this is a minor omission otherwise the hotel was excellent. |

we were looking for a short stay that would be suitable for children and i found the breaffy woods perfect for children distance of our room from front door our room was at very end of corridor and both my husband and i unfotunatly are smokers so it was a long way to go for a cigarette.also at times due to it being so busy, there were long ques for swimming pool |

As a family of 4 the room was a good size.the communal areas were poor with not enough lounge area to sit and relax in . The leisure facilities were excellent and we used every day due to the bad weather. The hotel did not have a facility to have snacks during the day.It was within easy access to Westport and local attractions We bought an evening meal for 4 and was very disappointed in its quality and presentation.Staff asked for feedback after the meal was sent back to the kitchen as the meat was cold and the sauce was too salty. When it returned the plate was hot and the meat was still cold. Staff were not keen to engage on any level with us despite their invitation to give feedback.literature about the hotel was on a poorly photocopied sheet at reception. |

I was very disappointed with this hotel. Not an ideal spot for couples, strictly a family hotel. Couldnt get in a swim due to the masses of children. The noise around the hotel was constant and it seemed to never be cleaned. The lifts were so dirty I chose to walk up 3 floors to our room each time. Never again. |

We liked the location of the Breaffy Woods Hotel. We used it as a base to travel nearby towns. I though the games room was quite poor for the kids but this is only minor. |

The Lodges are an excellent choice for people attending a wedding and also seemed to be suitable for people on holidays who needed a base The lodge seemed to be designed to sleep 6, double & 4 singles, but the towels and toiletries were for 4? |
