leisure center in breaffy house is good

the food is a big let down - no extra onoins and mushrooms with a steak even thouygh there is a 7.50eur premium for same, not good enough breaffy house apparently has spirits that like to knock over drinks!

Impersonal, main driveway full of potholes (recommend using service road), staff that we came in contact with were unfriendly.

We stayed at breaffy woods before its a great hotel and i do recommend it to anyone and everyone that will listen its a real family hotel its great and disco etc for the kids is fantastic we will be back again no doubt

Location was good/pool and gym were excellent

The food was terrible(breakfast was ok though) We ate there on the first night but not again. The bar was dark and drinks were warm. The price of drink was a complete ripoff

I enjoyed accommodation in a very spacious room which was very quiet and comfortable. I enjoyed the pub menu in the evening and in the company of family members of all ages from 5-84 with everything in between, there was ample choice. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent.

great staff that made up for a few oddities. Food was poor, breakfast a big disappointment mostly because it was so obviously cheap ingredients. But the staff more than made up for the glitches from time to time,and went out of there way to put things right. The pool was great, the value was great, general ambiance excellent. Lovely rooms, great for families to share. Good towels and shower products.

The poor quality of the food, in the bar food and the breakfast. I would have paid a bit more for good quality, but 9euro for the breakfast was enough I would think. Especially as I know that one of the top sausage and black pudding makers in Ireland are very close to the hotel. What a pity not to use those, and really make a thing of a good breakfast.

Good location. Good facilities.

One small thing- a bedside light had no bulb. Apart from that, everything else was great.

Have a fabulous stay shall stay again. Would recommend to family and friends.

Would have liked to be able to have food on premises when arrived rather than having to move to anothetr premises.

It was very family friendly Totally orientated towards children I like the kids things to do disco, facepainting etc.... I loved the swimming Thats why we went in the first place to go swimming and to use the water facilities OVerall a really wonderful weekend away, Thanks to all at the hotel. Well done

The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The pool facilities were good and my children enjoyed it. We didn't get a chance to use the spa facilities so I can't comment on these. In terms of other facilities: my children 8,5 and 1 didn't go to the kids club, but the advertised "kids activity zone" didn't exist or was being "done up", so no table tennis or anything like that. There was a mini golf course free to use and my children had great fun on this despite it being in real disrepair (probably a sign of the times). My eldest boy loved the "games room" with arcade games, but this was small and limited. My 5 year old daughter hated it! Kids activities were laid on in one of the bar areas, do too were films etc. Food in the hotel was good and very reasonably priced. Night entertainment was dodgy and rooms were v basic. All in all the helpful staff, lovely grounds, price and general facilities may attract me again.

its family friendly kept children happy with evening entertainment, staff very helpfull and friendly. the rooms very clean.

the dinner menu did not highlight properly that the price is just for the meat and not includes potoes and vegtables or chips there added extra's so it was quite expensive for the meals in the restaurant. had to wait 10mins for the hot water in the shower to heat up.

la piscine les fait que toutes les chambres familiales soient groupées dans une aile de l'hôtel est agréable: accès direct à la piscine + pas de problème si les enfants font du bruit dans les couloirs! chambre agréable claire et bien équipée serviettes mises à disposition pour la piscine sauna/hammam à disposition (sauna avec télévision)

il faut acheter des bonnets de bain pour la piscine le nombre de nageurs étant limité à 40 (peu pour un si grand établissement) nous avons du attendre pour aller nous baigner

Disponibilissimi con i bambini, la piscina è aperta tutto il giorno e accessibile ai bambini. Camera spaziosa.

The adjoining door was badly covered up. The carpet was filthy. The wall had numerous marks on it. The bar was sloppy with terrible stains on the old couches. No toilet in the bar area, had to go back to our room. Very poor dinner quality. Would not return.

Both lift carpet and particularly back stairs areas had an unpleasant smell.

Children were very well catered for. As it was midterm there was a kids club and junior disco with games each night. Great to keep a 4 year old happy whIlst parents got to have a drink and watch. Great hotel I will be back. Reception staff very efficient

While staying at the Breaffy Woods my son became ill. The staff couldnt do enough to help me. The gentleman at reception(cant remember his name) was so kind and understanding and went out of his way to help me and the rest of my family. Big thumbs up for your kindness.

We liked the peace & quiet in the lovely woodlands.

The reception staff were not inviting or welcoming. I found them unhelpful when dealing with my complaints.

The swimming pool - when we eventually managed to get into it at 8.30am!

We considered breakfast - despite the poor reviews but there was a hugh crowd in the dining room so we passed. The hotel was full with young families but the kids were well behaved.
