The location was perfect, just on the edge of the Temple Bar district. It was much nicer than I was expecting from the price. I would stay there again next time in Dublin. Bed was a little uncomfortable.

It is in a really good location (Temple Bar), as we wanted to visit all of the bars and pubs so there was no need to get taxis anywhere. The beds were really uncomfortable, there was rotting food underneath one of the mattresses, cold draft through the window and the shower was difficult to turn off.

The hotel is located in Parliament street, hence it's rather central. However, this is all the good about the hotel... Stay away from it! Seriously, the building is falling apart! As soon as you enter one of the rooms you'll have the impression of a certain inclination... It's not an optical illusion, the floors are sloping and you will often feel like you have lost balance. If you look at the door of room 21 (top floor of the secondary stairs) you will see that the floor is completely skewed compared to the room's door, and the room itself is totally inclined in one direction!! The mattresses are old and bumpy, no shower gel or shampoo in the toilets, the stairs are rotten, there is mold in the showers, a lot of sound coming out of room 4 (for example), you can hear anyone passing by and any person walking up the stairs... Terrible!!!

Very inexpensive. Old but clean. Very convenient to Temple Bar district. Convenient to public transportation as well. Small TV with a couple of channels.Hair dryer provided. No alarm clock. Small shower. No real ammenities. Good location. If you are looking for a five star place do not stay here. If you are looking for a great location in the party district and a cheap place to lay your head at night this is a great choice. The lady at the desk in the afternoon. She was not friendly and not helpful.

The location. In general it wasnt such a bad hotel. The building was very old and i think it needs renovation but in general as we use it only to go and sleep it was ok because is just to the city centre near the pubs. The bathroom was clean and it has also clean towels.

Great Location, you wont get better. Staff were pleasant enough also. Cheap as hell considering the location. Its old and a bit decrepid, feels like a real tinderbox. No soap or shampoo in the shower. This place badly needs a refurb, its run down and a bit dreary.

Price, staff The building is in need of renovation. The stairs, floors and walls are not level. The windows are not sound proof so you can hear everything from the street below. The staff did move me to a quiter room when I asked.

Position. In center of town Cold, heating doesn`t work even when we try more times talk to personal. Lots of cold and noise through the window. Floor was in high slope. Bed was noise even if you little move. Door to bath room can`t close. Broken door to shower. Thin walls and toilet after. Not key to main doors, so you must every time talk to receptionist to open.

The facility does not meet any fire codes. The building is a hazard and the rooms were terrible. There were no comforts that would typically be associated with a hotel. The room was dirty and small. Our sliding door on the shower was held together with zip-ties. The hot water would not get hot and it took about 10 of water running to just get warm. The hotel staff would not let us take the key with us when we went out for the day; I was worried about the security of our valuables. Doors were cut and modified just so they would open and close properly.

Exceedingly convenient, surprisingly comfortable for the price, very helpful staff, bathroom facilities surprisingly good (again for the price). I had misgivings about staying there because of the city noise and anticipation of less comfortable accommodation given the price. I need not have worried! I shall certainly try and user it again.

We checked in, made payment and was told we had to give our room key every day that we left the building which were not compfatable with at all. I dont understand how it can be called a hotel, its discusting, freezing cold and located above shops...more like a back alley dumping ground. It does not look anything like the pictures at all, we got a refund and spent 4 hours in the middle of night looking for somewhere to stay...totally ruined our honeymoon away...would not recommend it to anyone! My advice would be never to stay there, ould be more compfastable on the street to be honest surrounded by drunks!!!! I think it is unacceptable that they require the room key everyday the room is left - how can people be happy to leave there belongings with the staff to roam freely through there things, its awfull. Needs serious building works and cleaning...and some sort of heating...Ia would pay even 1 euro to stay there the night!!!

The Bridge House was an excellent place to stay on a budget. The staff was excellent, the rooms were very clean, and we felt extremely safe here. It is by no means luxurious, however by the end of our stay it felt like home. I definitely recommend this hotel to young travelers. I will surely be returning to the Bridge House. As long as you are not expecting anything fancy, there was nothing wrong with this establishment. There is no elevator so be prepared to walk up a few stairs. The rooms are a bit slanted but it just adds character.

Location was excellent. It was clean and you can make a cup of tea or coffee anytime. Basic facilities. It was comfortable. I was lucky to be located on 1st floor so didnt have to climb too many flights of stairs. There was no heat in my room but luckily it was very mild. Also no television although it was mentioned on internet booking that there was a tv in every room.

Location was perfect...one block from Temple Bar and across the street from a mini-mart. Also the airport bus pick up was 2 blocks away. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was daily. The hotel and furnishings are old and dirty. The bathroom window did not lock. The windows were not insulated so the bathroom was freezing and the bed closest to the window was freezing. Luckily it was only adults staying at the place...if I had brought my kids I would have changed hotels. The cost of internet service was expensive, 2 euro an hour or 10 euro a day.

Location, location, location Excellent location but a run down place. Plus, the rooms are shoebox size. Bring your own soap, shampoo, shower gel as all they have is hand soap from a dispenser. Minor detail but tv in the room is a 17 inch tv and there is no cable, you are stuck with 3 flavors of bbc and Sky News.
